WHITE HOUSE KITCHEN, KOTA DAMANSARA

July 30, 2013 by StrawberrY Gal

Formerly known as Kennedy Grill, the restaurant had opened it doors again to the customer by the name of White House Kitchen. By the name itself, you would be sure that you will enter the American Diner Restaurant. The restaurant painted with blue and added with the American style decoration does not fail to impress me. The owner Sanjeev had planning to have its own restaurant a long time and his dream comes true when he saw the ads on restaurant for sale. Sanjeev took over the restaurant and began the journey of his dream. Everything happened so fast, where he took over the restaurant on 1st July, and started handling the business on 4th July.

Sandeev had named the restaurant The White House Kitchen is where he would a name which is elegant, yet memorable. The restaurant brings me a cozy feel and a more family restaurant.

Started our meals with the mushroom soup and oxtail soup. The mushroom soup is just superb where the preparation of the whole mushroom soup is all by scatch and they are using the fresh mushroom to make it. The hot mushroom soup with the creamy taste of pure mushroom is just perfect.
Price: RM 7.90

White House Home Made Ox-tail Soup gives the hint of sweetness and flavourful which all comes from the herbs itself. The soup was rich and thick which makes it to our favorites.
Price: RM 8.90

Obama’s Family Recipe Chilli is something special which is being served on the menu itself. The grinded ground Australian beef together with the kidney beans, cheese, tomato, onions and herbs is just superb. Served together with the sliced baguette is just perfect and the delights had also toned down to Malaysian flavours.
Price:RM8.90

The stacks of onion rings, deep fried and served with the homemade BBQ sauce is one of mu favorite. The onion rings were just superb with the crunchy bites and the munch of it together with the bbq sauce creates the zingy taste of the overall taste. Superb.
Price: RM 8.90

The Black Pepper Chicken Chop being served on top of the sizzling hot plate and topped with the scrumptious black pepper sauce is just perfect. It is being served together with the scrumptious sides like fries and vegetables. We enjoyed the juiciness of the meat with the lights spiciness fragrant black pepper sauce with it.
Price: RM16.90

The President Choice is bringing us their signature dish where the beef which is being served are Australian grass fed.The meat is just perfectly done where the beef is perfectly juicy and each bite of the meat is bringing the tender bites.
Price:RM 31.90

The White House Grilled Chicken is some of delights worth to order where the boneless chicken meat is well marinated with the herbs and it is being grilled together with the honey. The homemade sauce which is added with a touch of Asian flavours is perfectly well done. It is being served together with the butter rice and added with the spicy sauce which creates the oomph in the whole meal.
Price: RM 14.90

White House Signature Chicken Roulade is where mushroom and carrot slices, marinated and grilled. The chicken fillet is being rolled with the delicious enoki mushroom in between and it is just well grilled. It is served together with the bed of grilled potatos and carrots with it.
Price: RM 18.90

Simply a special name for the dish “Silence of the Lamb” where food had says its words. The great tentalizing taste of the lamb with no gamey taste is just well done. Juicy, smoky and tender meat itself had made us silence too as we are too enjoyed munching the meat and all are quiet for the meal.
Price:RM 22.90

Salmon in Lemon & Butter Sauce is reasonably priced with a great portion of salmon which laid over the bed of fried potatos and sauteed potato. The salmon fish is just juicy enough for its meat itself and it’s skin is crispy too. Perfect dish for fish lovers
Price: RM 22.90

Von Ryan’s BBQ Beef Ribs well prepared by braising the meat itself followed by grilling them had made the BBQ beef ribs more tender and it is then being grilled to get a more satisfying meats. With the two process in place, the beef ribs will be more tender and the BBQ sauce is infused within the meat too.
Price: RM 39.90

It would be a plus to have a desserts to end our meals. The homemade Bread Pudding is homemade product which is made by a friend of Sanjeev’s mum is perfect. Not too sweet, the cake compliments well with the ice cream itself. It is topped with the “tropical” ice cream which is just perfect.
Price: RM 8.90

The Whitehouse Brownies is perfectly made with the thick chocolate brownies and it is topped with the vanilla ice cream, drizzled with the chocolate sauce and chunks of crushed peanuts together.
Price: RM 8.90
