For Chinese New Year 2026, The Brasserie at The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur presents a celebration defined by refinement, symbolism, and quiet luxury with its Auspicious Longevity 6-Course Set Menu. Available until 3 March 2026, this thoughtfully curated menu reflects the restaurant’s Michelin-recognised elegance while honouring classic Cantonese festive traditions.
Priced at MYR 178 nett per person, the menu is available for both lunch (12:00pm–3:00pm) and dinner (6:00pm–9:00pm), making it an ideal choice for reunion gatherings, refined business meals, and intimate festive celebrations.
The journey opens with Palace-Flamed Wagyu Beef Cheek, gently charred and tucked into a soft lotus bun with cucumber and spring onion. Rich yet balanced, it offers a confident and auspicious start.
This is followed by an elegant Imperial Abalone Tartlet, layered with sautéed mushrooms, crispy ginger, and oyster sauce — a refined bite that highlights premium ingredients with restraint.
One of the standout courses is the Golden Crab Toast & Caviar, where buttery brioche meets XO crab, scallion, ginger mayonnaise, and delicate pearls of caviar. It is indulgent yet precise, capturing modern luxury with subtle flair.
Comfort and nourishment arrive with the Jade Dew Double-Boiled Fish Maw Soup with Goji Berry and Ginseng. Clear, herbal, and deeply soothing, the soup embodies the Chinese New Year wish for longevity, health, and balance.
For the main course, the menu narrows its focus to two exceptional highlights, each representing Cantonese finesse at its best.
The Cantonese-Style Steamed River Prawn Wanton Noodle is light yet flavourful, featuring springy noodles crowned with sweet river prawns, gently perfumed with garlic, ginger, pickled chilli, and prawn XO. Clean and elegant, it celebrates technique over excess.
Equally indulgent is the Imperial Feast Garlic Crab Fried Rice, a luxurious comfort dish enriched with braised crab meat, crispy garlic, spring onion, and bursts of ikura. Fragrant, savoury, and deeply satisfying, it delivers festive richness without heaviness.
Dessert concludes the experience on a nostalgic note with Jade Dew Mango & Pomelo Sago, paired with vanilla ice cream, followed by Golden Deep-Fried Homemade Yam Nian Gao, offering warmth, texture, and festive sweetness.
With its polished pacing, premium ingredients, and symbolic storytelling, the Auspicious Longevity 6-Course Set Menu stands as a refined expression of Chinese New Year dining — understated, elegant, and thoughtfully composed.
