El-Cerdo @ TTDI

June 8, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

Pork lover, let’s go to El-Cerdo. For those who are not aware El Cerdo has been dominating Kuala Lumpur’s western-style pork specialties scene for 17 years. I have been to their outlet in Changkat Bukit Bintang where they are serving you a wide variety of porky delights that you will definitely love!

Albondigas Iberico (RM 29)

We started off with the Albondigas Iberico where these awesome Iberico meatballs are beautifully toasted with homemade tomato sauce and fresh herbs. The dish is amazingly good and the meatballs are so juicy.

Gambas Al Ajillo (RM 28)

The tiger prawns are perfectly sauteed and tossed with garlic, chili, and olive oil. They are so delicious and the prawns are fresh. We love the garlic taste which is perfectly infused in it making the dish awesomely good!

Caesar’s Salad (RM 36)

Using the Mexican recipe, the Caesar salad is a complete indulgence where they are pack with the greenie goodness which includes the romaine’s lettuce crisp bacon, ciabatta croutons and tossed together with their classic garlic anchovy dressing and silvers of aged parmesan cheese. Deliciously done!

Grilled Pork Shoulder (RM64)

A MUST to try here is their Grilled Pork Shoulder Steak where they are well marinated for 48 hours in paprika, herbs, onions, and garlic plus Werner’s secret seasoning, served with jalapenos and smoked paprika sauce. The meat is so juicy and each bite just perfectly gives you a melts in the mouth sensation.

Slow Roasted Suckling Pig (RM 220 | Half Piglet)

One can enjoy the wholesome dish and the suckling pig is superbly good. The pig is perfectly slow-roasted till perfection and the skin comes crispy and inside is juicy. They serve with the salad, their homemade signature sauce, and baby potatoes. This is one of the MUST TRY here in El-Cerdo

Roasted Spanish Iberico Spare Ribs (RM 108)

The Spanish Iberico Spare Ribs is indeed double thumbs up. One can enjoy the tender cooked and oven-roasted spare ribs which are served with pineapple & apple sauce.

Mountain Paella (RM 103)

Here, one can enjoy the Mountain Paella (RM 103) where the Spanish bomba rice is cooked with bacon, chicken slices, fresh assorted mushroom, chicken sausages, and semi-cured chorizo slices. The paella is fragrantly done and each mouthful is superbly good.

And of course, good od will definitely end with some sweet ending.

Homemade Tiramisu (RM 32): comes with the touch of mango sauce

Werner’s Special (RM 32): Completes with the Strawberries in Mango Sauce with chocolate mousse and wild raspberry sorbet.

Andreas’ Special “ A Dream in Chocolate” (RM 32) : The Vanilla Ice Cream, Milk Chocolate Mousse, Chocolate Crumble, Banana in Passion Fruit ad Pear in Red Wine

Home- Baked Cheese Cake (RM 32 per slice | RM 88 per cake): Comes with the berries compote and vanilla ice cream

Overall, El-Cerdo is indeed an awesome place for porky delights. So, is time to head to El-Cerdo and have some fun here as well as enjoy these awesome porklicious meals.
