Peranakan Nyonya Special @ Spoon Café, G Hotel Kelawai

December 19, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

The Spoon Café at GHotel Kelawai brings you with the great promotion with the theme of Peranakan Nyonya Special. The Peranakan Nyonya Special welcomes you with the set meals for 2 at ONLY RM 60 which is indeed value for money.

Starts your meal here with the appetizers which is the Seafood Otak Otak. The Seafood Otak Otak comes deliciously good where the mixed seafood mousse is perfectly wrapped with the Wild Betai Leaf which is delectably delicious.

The Kiam Chai Ark Soup is one of my favorite where the soup comes simply flavorful and you can find the salted vegetable, duck meat and mushroom sour broth in it.

And for the hot items, they 6 selections to go for. Start your hot items with the choice of Jiu Hu Char or the Nyonya Chap Chai. As for me being a big fan of Jiu Hu Char, this is a must for me. I am falling in love with the Jiu Hu Char here where the Nyonya Stir-Fried Dried Cuttlefish is stir fried with the sweet turnip, mushroom, cabbage and carrot.

Moving next, we have the Inchi Kabin which is the one the famous Nyonya fried chicken. This is where the chicken is well marinated in spices, coconut milk and curry. It is then being deep fried till perfection with the crisp at the skin and with the moist juicy meat.

Nothing beats a bowl of pipping hot and spicy Nyonya Fish Asam Pedas. Enjoy the truly Nyonya delicacies here where one can grabs the authentic sour and spicy fish curry together with cubes of pineapple, kesom leaves, ginger flower and tamarind juice.

And of course, ends your meal with the warm and sweet Bee Koh Moy. The black glutinous rice is perfectly slow cooked with the pandan and also dried longan and coconut milk. It makes a perfect ending after a great Nyonya delicacies.

And if you would love more, you can have additional side dishes such as the Nyonya Soy Sauce Egg, Nyonya Omelette, Pie Tee, Hainanese Spring Rolls or even the Fish Cracker with just addition RM 5 for each.
