FABULOUS BUFFET AND A LA CARTE AT GEN JAPANESE RESTAURANT SUNWAY PUTRA HOTEL, KUALA LUMPUR

Japanese food lovers, make your way to Gen Japanese Restaurant, Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur. Starting from 1st February till 31st December 2018, Gen Japanese Restaurant is offering an array of new menu; ranging from a la carte, buffet and teppanyaki. For Buffet Lunch and Dinner, diners can opt for Maguro (Tuna Sashimi), Shake (Norwegian Salmon Sashimi), Hamachi (Yellow Tail Sashimi) and Tako (Octopus Sashimi) Sashimi Mori (Assorted Slices Raw Fish). In addition, diners is spoil with other choices from the buffet selection such as Sanshoku Maki (Salmon, Tuna and Cuttlefish Roll), Tori Teriyaki (Grilled Chicken with Teriyaki Sauce), Kamo Kunsei To Karashi (Smoked Duck with Mustard Sauce), Sarada Moriawase (Vegetable Salad), Tori Teba Kare Age (Deep-fried Chicken Wings) and Abekawe Mocha (Japanese Rice Cake with Mixed Peanuts) Shabu-Shabu (Japanese Steamboat) Shake Aburi Maki (Seared Salmon Skin Roll), all priced at RM118.00 nett per person (for lunch) and RM128.00 nett per person (for dinner).

In addition to this, savour vast selections of a la carte delights such Shake, Kuruma Ebi, Gyuuniku, Hotate, Tori, Niniku Meshi, Yasai and Robusuta and many more such as Shake Dynamite Sushi, Tempura Moriawase, Unagi Kabayaki and Kudamono Moriawase. Tantalize your taste buds too with assorted Sushi and Sashimi….all these are specially created by Chef Mazwadie and his team. To end this perfect meal, try the mouth-watering desserts from the a la carte menu selections such Green Tea Ice-cream and also Mixed Fruits….simply delicious! Each a la carte is priced between RM 9 to RM 17.

Check out too the innovative creations of Teppanyaki set which served all to satisfy your big appetite such as:
a) Hokkaido Seafood set which includes Appetizers – of – The Day, Miso Soup, King Tiger Prawns, Scallops and Salmon Teppanyaki, Fried Rice, Stir-Fried Oriental Vegetables with priced at RM120 nett per set.
b) Teppanyaki Yasai set is a combination of Chef’s House Salad, Miso Soup, Assorted Vegetables and Tofu Teppanyaki, Fried Rice and Stir-Fried Oriental Vegetables priced at RM 45 nett per set.
c) Teppanyaki Matsu set comes with Chef’s  House Salad and Miso Soup also with a choice of Chicken or Beef Steak Teppanyaki priced at RM 50 nett per set.
Chef Mazwadie brings more than 13 years wealth of experience in culinary. He started his humble career as a commis in a five star resort and climbed at his career ladder as Japanese and Head Chef at various fine dining restaurants before appointed as the Chef de Cuisine for Gen Japanese Restaurant of the Hotel.

His inspirational to work as a chef derived from his passion in cooking and the experience to learn new cuisine from others. In his position as the Head Chef of Japanese kitchen at this hotel, he is able to prepare his delicious Japanese signature dishes such as, and most of it is the hand-down recipes by his mentors who taught him to prepare and cook Japanese cuisine.

The Gen Japanese restaurant, located at Level 10 of Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur is open daily for lunch 12.00 noon to 2.30 p.m. or 12.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. (Sunday only) and dinner is at 6.00 p.m. to 10.30 p.m (Monday to Saturday only). Gen serves Japanese fusion cuisine and easily can accommodate up to 150 diners at per time both at main dining and tatami rooms.
