THE SPA AT MANDARIN ORIENTAL, HONG KONG WELCOMES BACK FACIAL REFLEXOLOGY SPECIALIST

March 1, 2017 by StrawberrY Gal

The Mandarin Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is delighted to welcome back Alex Scrimgeour, a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner and specialist in Dien Chan facial reflexology, to host a series of one-on-one consultations. Mr. Scrimgeour returns 28 March to 8 April, 2017 following popular demand from guests experiencing the powerful and results driven Dien Chan facial reflexology treatment.

Developed in Vietnam after years of research and refinement, Dien Chan facial reflexology combines advanced techniques with classical Chinese medicine and bodywork. Over 300 individual points on the face have been mapped out, each with specific functions and actions on different aspects of the body and mind. The effects and uses of the treatment are unique, powerful, and highly energizing in application.

Each treatment is tailored to the individual and will bring calmness and harmony to both mind and body. There are many potent healing and beauty enhancing effects including facial rejuvenation to create a natural face lift, enhanced quality of sleep, the ability to combat back or neck pain, migraines, stress, poor digestion, and hormonal imbalances. The treatment also improves the overall complexion by releasing tension to increase facial tone, lustre, and brightness.

The Dien Chan facial reflexology treatment will begin with a short consultation to identify key health issues in order to personalize each treatment and create the most powerful change. Specific bodywork and massage will help calm and align the body in preparation for deeper work on the head, neck, and face. The combination of facial massage techniques and tools will stimulate and open various points and clear away tension from the face and head. Once the facial treatment is completed, a finishing series of bodywork techniques will be conducted to ground the body. The overall feeling will leave guests calm, bright, focused, and balanced.
Guests are advised to arrive 45 minutes before their appointment to relax in the spa’s heat and water oasis, including Chinese herbal steam rooms and experience showers as well as a sauna and hydrotherapy pool for men and an ice fountain and Kneipp pool for women.

The 60-minute Dien Chan facial reflexology treatment by Alex Scrimgeour is priced at HKD1,800 on weekdays and HKD1,900 on weekends while the 90-minute treatment is priced at HKD2,700 on weekdays and HKD2,800 on weekends. Prices are subject to 10% service charge. For further details or reservations, please call +852 2825 4888 or email [email protected].
