July 31, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

Diners at China Treasures, at the prestigious Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club are in for a splendid delight as the award winning restaurant will be introducing an exclusive Live Organic Jade Perch dish in its menu, available from 1 August 2015 to 30 September 2015.

This unique fish species originates from Australia, also known as Fei Chui Pan in Cantonese is a popular fish within the Asian countries that is extraordinarily rich in Omega-3 oils. Jade Perch, gets its name from the distinctive greenish colour along the top of its body when light is reflected off the scales. The Jade Perch’s rich natural oils and soft flesh is said to have a high Omega-3 oil content, that is, 2.4g for every 100g of flesh, which is far higher than 1.8g for every 100g compared with the Atlantic salmon.

Thousands of scientific research studies have shown the benefits of Omega- 3 helps prevent some risk factors associated with cardiovascular and heart disease and significantly impacting heart, brain and joint health. Omega- 3 is essential for promoting proper nervous system, mental function and maintaining healthy cholesterol levels.

True to his unique and creative style, Executive Chinese Chef Eddie Chua is all set to whip a mouthwatering dish featuring the exclusive Jade Perch fish that will surely entice your senses to a whole new level of culinary experience. With such delicate cooking style method, you can expect a burst of flavorful aromas that will keep you wanting for more!
