“MANGO FEVER” AFTERNOON TEA BUFFET AT CAFÉ ALLEGRO OF REGAL KOWLOON HOTEL

May 19, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

Summer is a season for a wide range of tropical fruits! Among all, the sweet and juicy mango is usually chosen as the ingredient for the buffet dishes. Executive Chef Ray Lam of Regal Kowloon Hotel has brought you the “Mango Fever” Afternoon Tea Buffet, presenting different styles of mango in the menu to delight your palate in this hot summer!

Tasty recommendation includes Deep-fried Chicken Roll with Mango Dill Sauce. Mango slices are stuffed inside the chicken thighs and deep-fried. The crispy chicken roll is well-complemented by the fresh and juicy mango. For Mango Sushi Roll, mango and avocado are wrapped inside the sushi rice roll to offer a healthy and refreshing delicacy. Thai Green Mango and Papaya Salad is an authentic Thai dish. Shredded mango and papaya are mixed with the slightly spicy Thai dressing to stimulate your appetite. To make BBQ Spare Ribs with Mango and Passion Fruit Sauce, pork ribs are first marinated with the sweet-sour sauce made from mango and passion fruit before they are barbecued. So the flesh is full of fruity taste in every bite.

To add on, our dessert counter with different mango-infused choices will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth! Mango Vanilla Panna Cotta is adding mango juice to the classic Panna Cotta and then decorated with mango slices. The slightly sour mango juice can balance the sweetness of vanilla and still keep the smooth and silky mouthfeel. Mango Pepper Chocolate Mousse Cake is made by blending rich chocolate mousse with a little spice of pepper and mango to further enrich the flavour of the sweet treat. Mango Pudding with Pomelo and Sago is a mouth-watering pudding to cool you down in hot summer. Moreover, other sought-after desserts are also served to end your meal perfectly!

Providing a pleasant and relaxing dining environment with fresh and contemporary decor, Cafe Allegro serves international seafood buffets and an à-la-carte menu. The restaurant also features a specially decorated Vietnamese section offering Viet cuisine.
