JAPANESE FEASTS AT SAGANO RESTAURANT RENAISSANCE KUALA LUMPUR HOTEL

March 12, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

Tantalizing aroma of Japanese flavors waft through the air as you step over the threshold of Sagano and follow the polished corridors to emerge into the main dining area. The decorative rice paper screens and patterned Japanese noren are enough to evoke vivid images of the Land of the Rising Sun while the stringed instrument playing in the background exudes a warm languid cosiness.

Though Sagano boasts an impressive a la carte menu, the restaurant is popular for its buffets. The week day Lunch Buffet [excluding public holidays] is appropriate for executives on the go looking for a quick bite. Priced at RM99.10nett per person, the Lunch Buffet is served from 12.00noon to 2.30pm. During the weekend, Sagano serves sumptuous buffets for dinner every Saturday from 6.30pm to 10.30pm and from 12.00noon to 2.30pm every Sunday and priced at only RM120.10nett per person.

Diners will find every imaginable Japanese mainstay here, ranging from tempting appetizers to delicious miso soup and crunchy tempura to fresh sashimi, Japanese noodles, sizzling Teppanyaki and lots more. Do not forget to leave some room for dessert! The colorful fruit jelly in glass, green tea ice-cream with red bean jam tiramisu and mochi are some of the desserts to die for.

Located in the West Wing – 1st floor of the Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel, Sagano Restaurant is able to accommodate a total of 120 persons comfortably. It has three Tatami rooms, one Teppan Room and one private dining room in addition to the main dining area of the restaurant. Sagano opens for lunch from 12.00 noon to 2.30 pm and for dinner from 6.30 pm to 10.30 pm daily.

For restaurant reservations and to discover more, please call 03 2162 2233 or email [email protected]. We recommend that you book early to avoid disappointing your palate.
