KFC INTRODUCES THE DOUBLICIOUS DOUBLE DOWN MAXX

December 1, 2014 by StrawberrY Gal

The KFC Double Down bun-less burger that took Malaysia by storm two years ago is now back with double the crunchiness and double the taste.

The new Double Down Maxx burger is an epic burger built with KFC’s signature flavours that includes the Hot & Spicy Zinger fillet stacked with hash brown, a slice of cheese and a layer of smoky chipotle sauce.
“KFC Malaysia is eager to test the limits when it comes to outstanding creations and the Double Down Maxx is one of the products that brings our creativity to the extreme,” said Ling Mee Jiuan, Senior Vice President, KFC Malaysia.

With the tagline “A Big Taste You Just Can’t Let Go!” the new KFC Double Down Maxx is created with the youth and young adults in mind, and not forgetting, those young at heart as well. The younger generation is always craving for something much more intense that is bigger and tastier. The new KFC Double Down Maxx offers just that.
The new KFC Double Down Maxx is generously available at RM10.90 for ala’ carte, and also in the Lunch and Dinner Combo at a great value of RM12.95. Combo includes one regular size Cheezy Wedges and one regular size carbonated drink. The Lunch and Dinner Combo is not applicable for KLIA/KLIA2, Penang Airport, Legoland and Genting.
The KFC Double Down Maxx campaign is supported by TV, radio, and newspaper advertising, online digital media, outdoor and point-of-sales materials for a wider reach to customers. KFC Double Down Maxx is available nationwide at all KFC restaurants for a limited time only starting from 28 November 2014, so don’t miss your chance to sink your teeth into this awesome product!
In line with this promotion, KFC is organizing the Double Down Maxx challenge, whereby participants need to take a “selfie” with the Double Down Maxx burger in the most creative manner. Participants will need to post the picture into KFC’s Facebook contest page or Instagram account with the hashtag #DoubleDownMaxx. The top 40 most outstanding posts will get the chance to experience the Double Down Maxx drift challenge with Tengku Djan, Malaysia’s number one drifter.
