A new kid in the block at Manjalara town is a new place to venture for food. Opened in July 2013, the Maple Fish Pot Restaurant is special recipe of soup with grouper fish. Being a fans of fish steamboat since young, it is kinda hard to find them in KL as we usually have our fish steamboat in Penang.

Maple Fish Pot originated from Penang serve us with the delicious steamboat range where they have small, medium and large in size of fish pot and free refill of their soup. This round, we had the steamboat set which price at RM88++. The set served for 2-4 pax. In the set, you can find the variety of ingredient in it. The set comes with fried grouper, fresh grouper fillet, prawns, fish stomach, black mushroom, bean curd stick, tofu, enoki mushroom, Chinese cabbage, yao mak, water spinach, fried yam as well as mee hoon. The portion is pretty a large one to share and all the ingredients are pretty fresh. Not only that, the soup is sweet and delicious where every mouthful of it is warm and it is great to have it during the rainy weather.
Price: RM 88++

Besides having their tempting steamboat set, we also enjoyed other delicious item from their ala-carte. We had the Homemade Meat Ball ( Pork) with Salted Fish. The meatball which is served brings a slight salty taste which made a good match with the piping hot soup.
Price: RM 6.90

We also add some fresh pork slices into the steamboat too. Delicious and tempted delights, the pork slice is simply fresh and really good too. Just try shabu shabu them in the piping hot soup.
Price: RM 11.90

While waiting your steamboat to cook, we enjoy some little snacks too. The BBQ Pork Char Siew is really good. The char siew is well grilled and added with the thick caramelized sauce on top making the good. The meat is tender and juicy which I really fall in love with it.
Price: RM 18.90

We also tried their cucumber with meat floss which is very special too. The mini cucumber is crispy and the meat floss is simply fragrant too. The cucumber meat floss is perfectly done with the crispy bites of the cucumber with a bit of the light salty fragrant meat floss.

After enjoying the hot soup, we also had the Black Glutinous Rice with Ice Cream. The enjoyable blend of desserts where the desserts is served in the coconut shell and it is topped with a scope of ice cream. The black glutinous brings us with the creamy taste and yet fragrant too.
Price: RM 8.90
