Har Sin Sin, Selayang Jaya: Another Place for Ma-La Lover

June 7, 2025 by StrawberrY Gal

If you’re a fan of spicy, tongue-tingling mala flavors or love a good bowl of dry chili pan mee, Har Sin Sin in Selayang Jaya should be on your radar. This cozy eatery specializes in comforting, flavor-packed dishes that cater to both mala spice enthusiasts and those looking for a satisfying, hearty meal.

Mala Soup with Pork Belly

For those who crave the bold, numbing heat of mala, the Mala Soup with Pork Belly is a definite highlight. The broth is rich, fragrant, and packed with Sichuan peppercorns, dried chilies, and aromatic spices, delivering that signature mala (麻辣) numbing sensation. The pork belly is tender and fatty, absorbing the spicy broth beautifully, making every bite flavorful. And one can enjoy them with their choice of noodles from bihun, yee mee, and mixian

Dry Chili Pan Mee

If you prefer something dry, spicy, and packed with umami, the Dry Chili Pan Mee is a winner. The springy hand-pulled noodles are tossed in a fragrant, fiery homemade chili oil, giving it a perfect balance of heat and savoriness. Crispy anchovies, minced pork, spring onions, and a runny poached egg complete the dish, adding layers of crunch, richness, and creaminess.

If you enjoy Sichuan-style spice or Malaysian-style dry noodles, this place is definitely worth a visit!
