June 13, 2022 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Review, Invited Review Leave a Comment

We passed by the shop a few times but we never enter before as we thought they are just selling cakes. And recently, we had found out they have more than just cakes and sweat desserts. Gula Cakery and Gula Creamery is the place which is worth to visit if you are Looking for delicious meals, cakes and ice creams in one place.

Chili Butter Cream Clams (RM30)

It is one of the signature dish here. This is one of the Must try and recommended dish here for sure. The chili butter cream sauce is so fragrant and not too spicy. It is perfectly cook together with the clams. Each mouthful comes sinfully good and the clams are so fresh and delicious which make it to our list to go back again.

Spaghetti Masak Lemak Cili Padi (Tiger Prawn) (RM 28)

One of the must to try here. The Spaghetti Masak Lemak Cili Padi Comes with the creamy buttery sauce based with the cili padi in it. It comes with the choice of tiger prawn or beet brisket. And this time, we opt for the tiger prawn. In here, the tiger prawn comes simply fresh and delicious And it comes with the al-date noodles  that make the dish divinely good and delicious.

Grilled Chicken Chop (RM27)

The boneless Chicken chop is perfectly seasoned and marinated. It is then grilled till perfection and sides with their homemade blackpepper sauce. french fries, coleslaw, grilled mushroom and tomatoes . They are such a nice dish to enjoy and Grace give double thumbs up of this. We love how it is done where the chicken is tender and juicy and it is perfectly made a good match with their fragrant and aromatic black pepper sauce. The sauce Is not too spicy but it brings you with the aromatic and yet fragrant black pepper taste which is so good. The gilled mushroom is delicious too and we definately will be back for more

Asides from that, they have wide variety of cakes and desserts to go for here from their pavlova cake, burnt cheese cake and many more.  This round, we savour their Berry Pavlova, Burnt Cheesecake and Mango Cheesecake.

Berry Pavlova (RM 18)

Their Berry Pavlova made it to our favourite where the pavlova is indeed perfectly made. They are well layered with cream and the meringue. They are topped with the berries and makes a twist to it. They are perfectly done and each mouthful is so indulging. It is so nice where I went back the second day to grab another piece.

Burnt Cheese Cake

Their cheese cake is using the pure cream cheese and the flavours of the cheese can be tasted. After a scoop of tasting the cheesecake, we are assured that the cheesecake is made from premium ingredients and every mouthful is creamy and melts in the mouth.

Mango Cheesecake

Their no bake mango cheese cake is so indulging. A sweet delight with the hint of mango and slices of mango on top is perfectly delicious and good. Love the way they are made.

As for drinks , we enjoyed their Watermelon Lychee Sparker, Strawberry Banana And many more. The drinks are awesomely good and refreshing too.

If you are a dessert lover, you can hop to next door which is Gula Creamery where they focus mainly on desserts. The desserts here are awesome. In here one can find a wide variety of ice creams. The choices of their ice creams are pretty unique and exciting flavours  such as the Salted Caramel Macademia, Double Chocolate Nutella, Biscoff Chocolate, Ferrero Rocher and many more. The choices are indeed extensive and each flavours come pretty unique!

And this time, we ordered the Buttermilk Waffle which is topped with double scoop of ice cream on top. We had them with the Berry Pavlova and also the Vanilla ice cream. The waffle is made in house upon order and you can taste the freshness of the waffle. As for the ice cream, they are awesomely good and not overly sweet which makes it to our favourites.

We also had the Raspberry Pistachio Milkshake that comes deliciously good too. The milkshake is simply an indulgence and is thick and creamy. Yummy.
