SEASONAL MELON AND FRUIT SPECIALITIES AT REGAL COURT REGAL KOWLOON HOTEL HONG KONG

May 28, 2015 By StrawberrY Gal - Food News Leave a Comment

Summer is the season of melons and fruits. Our Executive Chinese Chef Tsang Chung Hong is delighted to present a variety of culinary creations emphasizing different kinds of seasonal melons and fruits at Regal Court to refresh your taste buds.

The succulent and sweet melons are popular picks as they can pair well with most ingredients to present scrumptious dishes. Highlighted recommendation includes Braised Winter Melon with Mushroom and Bamboo Pith. The winter melon is used as a container to carry bamboo pith, carrot and mushroom, offering you a light and healthy vegetarian choice. Angled Luffa is rich in dietary fiber while lobster is an irresistible crustacean. Steamed Lobster Balls & Angled Luffa with Chili can let you experience the exceptional taste of both freshness and spiciness. For Braised Stuffed Conpoy & Fish Maw in Marrow, the sliced marrows are firstly braised to soften the texture and then stewed with conpoy and fish maw to further enrich the flavour of dry seafood.

Fruits are nutritious. Cooking them with seafood or meat can produce an array of healthy and refreshing delicacies. Strawberry is full of minerals as well as vitamins and its aromatic flavour is a perfect match with pork ribs. The sweet and sour taste of Pork Spare Ribs with Strawberry in Mayonnaise Sauce can surely whet your appetite. For beef lovers, don’t forget to sample the Wok-fried Wagyu Beef with Pomegranate & Black Garlic. Both pomegranate and black garlic are effective on reducing blood sugar and eliminating the toxins in the body respectively, also the juicy flesh of pomegranate can lessen the oily feel of beef but keep its tenderness. Braised Duck and Apple with Special Sauce in Bowl is a choice you shouldn’t miss. Apple has plenty of cellulose and its taste matches with duck meat perfectly.

Seasonal Melon and Fruit Specialities are available till June 30, 2015. Don’t miss the chance to taste different variety of summer delicacies!
