Starbucks Malaysia Celebrates Creativity And Connection with ‘Pass On Good Vibes’ Campaign Wrap-Up

February 10, 2026 by StrawberrY Gal

Starbucks Malaysia recently brought together Malaysians from all walks of life to celebrate the wrap-up of its ‘Pass On Good Vibes’ campaign, a heartfelt initiative that transformed simple Starbucks Cup Cards into meaningful expressions of creativity, kindness and connection.

At the heart of Starbucks is a simple yet powerful tradition. Our baristas write messages on cups, a signature expression of Starbucks’ commitment to personal connection, where every cup becomes an opportunity to engage and uplift customers in meaningful ways. For decades, handwritten names and notes on cups have symbolised Starbucks’ belief that coffee is not just about the beverage, but about the human touch created around it, making every customer feel valued.

What began as a small gesture soon grew into a nationwide movement. Through handwritten messages, thoughtful words and imaginative illustrations, Malaysians turned everyday moments into powerful stories of appreciation, encouragement and shared joy.

Starbucks Pass On Good Vibes Cup Card

More than just a campaign, ‘Pass On Good Vibes’ became a platform offering a space where people expressed gratitude and passed on positivity, one cup card at a time. Throughout the campaign, thousands of entries poured in from across the country, showcasing the unique ways Malaysians spread warmth and inspiration in their daily lives. From uplifting affirmations and heartfelt dedications to playful drawings, the submissions revealed how even the smallest acts of kindness can create a lasting emotional impact.

“At Starbucks, we believe that we are more than just coffee, we create moments, connections and stories,” said Zakiah Hanim, Director of Marketing & Loyalty, Berjaya Starbucks Coffee Company. “Through our signature cup marking, we create meaningful interactions that sets us apart from other coffee brands. Every cup reflects our commitment to human connection, and every store serves as a welcoming ‘third place’, a home away from home.”

“‘Pass On Good Vibes’, allowed us to celebrate the voices and stories that often go unnoticed. We were truly inspired by the sincerity, creativity and thoughtfulness of Malaysians who took part in this journey.”, Zakiah added.

A Celebration Brewed with Coffee and Connection

The wrap-up celebration embodied Starbucks’ spirit of community and togetherness. Guests were welcomed with a curated coffee tasting session led by Coffee Masters from Starbucks Reserve® IOI Mall Damansara, offering a deeper appreciation of the craft and passion behind every cup.

As conversations flowed and stories were shared, the event culminated in an exciting prize presentation ceremony, recognising participants whose submissions stood out for their creativity, emotion and originality.
