The first of these is the limited-time sensation, the Jalur Harimau Croissant. This bold creation puts a local twist on the classic French pastry, featuring a striking tiger-stripe exterior with a hearty filling of savoury and smoky chicken satay, peanut sauce and tangy pickled onions. It’s a culinary adventure wrapped in flaky buttery layers. Priced at RM12.00, it is only available from now until 30th November.
Chocolate enthusiasts can sink their teeth into the Decadent Choc Mud featuring a rich, layered chocolate mud sponge with a creamy chocolate mud filling. Its layers are then finished with elegant dark chocolate flakes and premium cocoa powder. Available at RM18.00, this petit cake is a true chocoholic’s dream.
For a touch of savoury indulgence, Lapisan now has Triple Cheese Delight for cheese lovers. This indulgent treat combines creamy mascarpone, parmesan, and baked cream cheese atop a premium vanilla sponge, topped with premium vanilla crumbs. Priced at RM13.00, this petit cake is made to melt your worries away.
Next in the new line-up is the Maritozzo Series, a playful take on two Italian classics offering four delectable flavours for dessert lovers – Tiramisu, Mango, Choco Hazelnut and Biscoff. The classic Tiramisu Maritozzo stands out with its creamy-filled mascarpone cream, espresso-soaked ladyfingers, and dusted with cocoa powder.
Following this, the Mango Maritozzo comes with mango chantilly and mango compote. The Choco Hazelnut Maritozzo satisfies every chocolate craving with chocolate hazelnut chantilly, topped with toasted hazelnuts, while the Biscoff Maritozzo is a treat with cream cheese chantilly and Biscoff caramel, topped with Biscoff crumbs. All Maritizzo series priced at RM11.00, these fluffy and sweet buns will be the ideal accompaniment to your morning cup of tea.
Bringing the new menu together are two matcha beverages, the Iced Pandan Matcha Latte and the trendy Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte. Both drinks balance the bitterness of matcha with a hint of pandan or strawberry mix. Priced at RM14.20, the drinks give a smooth complement to pair with the new Lapisan pastries.
All new pastries and beverages are now available at Lapisan Pâtisserie’s outlets in Mid Valley Megamall (Kuala Lumpur) and Mid Valley Southkey (Johor Bahru). The special Maritozzo flavours – Mango, Choco Hazelnut and Biscoff, along with the Matcha series beverages, are available from 18th October onwards.
