A Double Delight: Hotpot and BBQ Under One Roof at Yi Pin, Puchong

July 14, 2025 by StrawberrY Gal

For food lovers seeking a lively, hands-on dining experience, Yi Pin Hotpot BBQ in Bandar Puteri Puchong has fast become a top destination. Combining the fiery indulgence of traditional Chinese hotpot with the smoky satisfaction of table-top barbecue, Yi Pin offers diners the best of both worlds — all within a comfortable, buffet-style setting.

As patrons enter the bustling restaurant, they are greeted by the inviting aromas of simmering broths and sizzling meats. The dining space is outfitted with individual tables featuring built-in grills and dual hotpot compartments, allowing guests to simultaneously cook their favorite meats, vegetables, and seafood to perfection.

One of the major draws at Yi Pin is its wide selection of soup bases, catering to all taste preferences. From the robust and spicy Sichuan mala to the mild and nourishing herbal chicken, each broth is carefully prepared to bring out the best in the fresh ingredients. Diners may also opt for a double-flavored pot, ideal for sharing with companions who have varying levels of spice tolerance.

In addition to its broths, Yi Pin boasts an impressive array of ingredients, including thinly sliced beef, lamb, prawns, mussels, squid, tofu, handmade meatballs, leafy greens, mushrooms, and more. At the same time, the BBQ side of the experience features a marinated selection of lamb skewers, chicken wings, sausages, and premium cuts ready to be grilled right at the table.

To complete the meal, guests are invited to visit the DIY sauce bar, a signature feature that allows diners to customise their dipping sauces from over a dozen condiments such as garlic, chili, sesame paste, and soy sauce. For those who crave variety, the buffet also includes side dishes like fried snacks, noodles, rice, and a sweet end to the meal with soft-serve ice cream and fresh fruits.

Yi Pin Hotpot BBQ operates on an all-you-can-eat basis, offering value-for-money packages that make it an attractive option for families, large groups, and corporate gatherings.
