Green Common’s New Made-in-HK Vegan Custard Mooncake

 Mid-Autumn Festival is all about family and scrumptious indulgence, while being mindful of your health is also essential. This year, Green Common introduces two vegan mooncake gift sets, which include the brand new Vegan Custard Mooncake that is 100% made in Hong Kong, whilst the other set includes the crowd favourites from last year, Figs with Pistachios & Oats Mooncake and Mixed Nuts with Blueberries & Purple Sweet Potato Mooncake. Artfully curated from plant-based ingredients, all mooncakes contain 0mg cholesterol and 0g trans fat*, and free of added preservatives. An absolute delight, the latest collection becomes an effortlessly healthy and perfect gift, keeping the joyous festival light yet satisfying.

 

The packaging of the gift set is specially designed to promote sustainable living. Apart from the simplistically elegant look, the boxes are printed with soy ink. The mooncake trays are made with sugarcane bagasse, the box, sleeve and trays are all completely compostable, alleviating the environmental damage. Furthermore, the reusable box can be upcycled into mini table, with a multiplayer deduction board game “One Night Carniwolves” enclosed for extra fun during the festivities. Practical, environmentally friendly and fun-filled, the gift sets are sure to deliver a joyously green Mid-Autumn Festival.

Made in Hong Kong and created with award-winning Miyoko’s vegan butter*, the Vegan Custard Mooncake presents a plant-based rendition of the classic mooncake. A golden tender casing and custard filling mixed with plant-based milk, agave syrup and flaxseed powder, Vegan Custard Mooncake offers a velvety texture. Mixed Nuts with Blueberries & Purple Sweet Potato Mooncake

Packed with fresh blueberries and wrapped in purple sweet potato crust which both ingredients are full of antioxidants and anthocyanin, the filling features six different kinds of nuts and seeds, delivering a rich polyunsaturated fat content. This mooncake contains 34% less sugar than the traditional mixed-nut mooncakes, 0mg cholesterol and 0g trans fat (per 100g). Free of added preservatives or artificial colourings, it is the sweet and fruity treat that adds to the festivities.

 

Figs with Pistachios & Oats Mooncake

 

Dried figs is one of the stars when it comes to calcium content. Paired with high-fibre oats and pistachios, this mooncake delivers high-quality proteins and polyunsaturated fats. It contains 17% less sugar, 0mg cholesterol and 0g trans fat (per 100g). This mooncake also adds no preservatives or artificial colourings, presenting a sweet, nutty yet light delicacy.
