WHERE MALAYSIA’S WONDERS COME TOGETHER: PETROSAINS & PETRONAS TWIN TOWERS SKY XPERIENCE BRING YEAR-END SCHOOL HOLIDAYS TO LIFE!

December 21, 2025 by StrawberrY Gal

This year-end school holiday season, Petrosains, The Discovery Centre, together with the PETRONAS Twin Towers Sky Xperience, invites families, students and tourists to celebrate the wonders that make Malaysia extraordinary through the festive programme “Where Malaysia’s Wonders Come Together.” Running throughout the holidays, this immersive experience brings together science, creativity and culture. It celebrates the pride of Malaysia’s iconic skyline, creating a joyful journey for learning, exploration and fun.

Young explorers and their families can dive into hands-on science and interactive adventures at Petrosains. The highly anticipated ”Night at Petrosains” returns with three exclusive sessions, offering a magical after-hours experience where visitors can explore exhibits in a whole new light.  At the Thinking Spot! Edu-to-Cart: Unboxing with XPLORASI, children can combine exploration with take-home activities, extending the excitement beyond the visit. Workshops and interactive quiz sessions are sprinkled throughout the programme to spark curiosity, encourage problem-solving and inspire creativity in every young mind.

Adding to the festive cheer, visitors can enjoy a vibrant Multicultural Drum Show celebrating Malaysia’s rich heritage, as well as energetic dance performances that showcase movement, expression and creativity. Families can capture joyful moments at the Festive Photo Booth, while beloved mascots A.R.I.F., joined by Wira, Manja, and Mechamato, make special appearances for fun and interactive meet-and-greet sessions that are sure to delight children of all ages.

For a view that will take your breath away, the PETRONAS Twin Towers Sky Xperience offers stunning panoramic views of Kuala Lumpur’s skyline. Visitors can explore the world’s tallest double-decked Sky Bridge at Levels 41 and 42 and the Sky Deck at Level 86, where sweeping city vistas and interactive displays tell the story behind Malaysia’s most iconic towers. The experience is further enhanced by Sky Café at Level 83, a premium dining spot offering unique delicacies in a relaxed setting, allowing guests to unwind while enjoying views from within the city skyline from above. Together, Petrosains and the Sky Xperience provide a seamless holiday adventure where discovery on the ground meets inspiration in the sky.

“This year-end school holiday programme celebrates the wonders of Malaysia in a meaningful, engaging and inclusive way. By bringing together science, culture, creativity and our national icons, we aim to create joyful experiences that inspire families and young learners, while playing our part in building anticipation for Visit Malaysia 2026,” said Ezarisma Azni Mohamad, Chief Executive Officer of Petrosains Sdn. Bhd., the operator of Petrosains, The Discovery Centre and PETRONAS Twin Towers Sky Xperience.

As the year draws to a close, Petrosains, The Discovery Centre and the PETRONAS Twin Towers Sky Xperience stand as destinations where discovery meets celebration, giving families the chance to explore, learn, and create lasting holiday memories. In conjunction with Visit Malaysia 2026, visitors are encouraged to stay tuned for a series of upcoming activations in 2026 that will continue to showcase the wonders of Malaysia in fresh and engaging ways.
