Chinese New Year, Welcome Abundant Beginnings with Hilton Kuching

Welcome the year of the metal rat, an auspicious year of new beginnings and endless opportunities. The rat is the first sign of the 12 animals in the Chinese zodiac, making this year a time for renewal. It promises fresh starts for an abundance of prosperity, success and fortune.

Look forward to abundant beginnings with Hilton Kuching as we invite you to partake in the joy of Chinese New Year with a feast of auspicious cuisine known to bring good luck at Toh Yuen, Hilton Kuching’s premier Chinese restaurant.

Toss to good fortune with Toh Yuen’s signature Yee sang for 2020 which is the Healthy Toss          Yee Sang, a mix of both Fresh and Dried Mango. Wealthy Toss Yee Sang is a combination of Chilled Norwegian Salmon while Prosperity Toss Yee Sang consists of Abalone with Norwegian Salmon. The Double Happiness Yee Sang contains Salmon with Maguro Akami. Prices starts from RM88 for regular size and RM138 for large.

The Wealth and Prosperity set menu is priced at RM2988nett per table of 10 and features the crowd pleasers such as Braised Fresh Water Prawns in Claypot with Silver Bun, Steamed Tiger Garoupa with Special Soy Sauce, Special Two Flavour Duck, Braised Yellow Noodle with Slipper Lobster Hokkien Style and Braised Long Cabbage with Assorted Mushroom and Fat Choy.

The Joy and Happiness set menu is priced at RM1388nett per table of 10 and features dishes including Special Two Flavour Chicken, Steamed Tiger Garoupa with Sweet and Spicy Sauce, Wok friend Prawns Mongolian Style Topped Bombay Onion Pickle, Stewed Broccoli with Abalone and Soy Steak in Oyster Sauce, Braised Honey Duck with Red Dates, Steamed Lotus Rice with BBQ Chicken and Dried Shrimps. Lion Dance   

As an extension to the Chinese New Year festivities, guests will be entertained by the mighty lions with acrobat stunts on 25 January 2020 from 5.15pm onwards at Hilton Kuching’s lobby.
