LADUREE FRENCH MACAROONS @ HARBOUR CITY HONG KONG: THE WORLD BEST MACAROONS

January 4, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

LADUREE
The world famous macaroons – Laduree is one of a must to buy since I am in Hong Kong and it is almost everyone talk about whenever you says about #macaroons

LADUREE

Ladurée is a French luxury bakery and sweets maker house created in 1862. It is one of the top premier sellers of the double-decker macaron, fifteen thousand of which are sold every day. They are still one of the best known makers of macaroons in the world.

LADUREE

Hong Kong’s highly anticipated first shop of Laduree open it’s doors on the 1st of December 2011 in Harbour City Mall. With the beautiful interior with sweet colors, the macaroons comes in variety of flavours and colors. Some of the famous flavours includes :
LADUREE

1) L’ Incroyable Guimauve Amande (Almond Marshmallow)
2) Caramel Fleur de Sel (Salted Caramel)
3) Noix de Coco (Coconut)
4) L’ Incroyable Guimauve Citron – Citron Vert (Lemon Lime Marshmallow)
5) Chocolat (Chocolate)
6) L’ Incroyable Guimauve Noisette (Hazelnut Marshmallow)
7) Framboise (Raspberry)
8) Vanille (Vanilla)
9) Cafe (Coffee)
10) Cassis Violette (Blackcurrant Violet)
11) Praliné (Praline)
12) Citron (Lemon)
13) Black Liquorice
14) L’ Incroyable Guimauve Violette (Violet Marshmallow)
15) Pétale de Rose (Rose Petal)

LADUREE

We have buy 4 of those best seller macaroons and it is indeed super expensive as each macarons cost us around HKD 23.00 each. We bought the Pétale de Rose (Rose Petal), Caramel Fleur de Sel (Salted Caramel), Ghanaa Chocailate and Framboise (Raspberry). One of my favourite is the Ghana Chocolate which brings you with the intense of chocolate flavours in it. The Salted Caramel fares a good point to where it comes with the caramel sweetness in it. Nicely done.

Though the price is expensive but it is worth for once in the lifetime to try them.
