YEE SANG TO WELCOME THE YEAR OF THE GOAT AT SHANG PALACE, SHANGRI-LA HOTEL, KUALA LUMPUR

The Goat springs to life this Chinese New Year, and it’s time to celebrate with all the gusto and energy of this animal.

 

Shang Palace at the Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur is offering six varieties of Yee Sang for those who wish to capture the good fortune, prosperity, wealth and abundance of this most important event in the Chinese lunar calendar.
It’s the time to raise the chopsticks in unison, and toss Yee Sang at lunch or dinner with friends, colleagues and family in the spirit of the season.
Enjoy this mélange of shredded vegetables and fruits, crispy fritters, ground peanuts and sesame, and special Yee Sang sauce together with your choice of salmon, abalone, lobster, Japanese surf clams and sweet prawns and more at Shang Palace.
The six varieties of Yee Sang include Korean Snow Pear Yee Sang, Crispy Fish Skin and Jellyfish Flower Yee Sang, Salmon Fish Yee Sang, Japanese Hokkigai and Sweet Prawns Yee Sang, Sliced Abalone Yee Sang and Australian Live Lobster Yee Sang.
Yee Sang is available for dine-in or takeaway from 19 January to 5 March 2015.
The prices for the Yee Sang range from RM78++ (small) and RM138++ (large) for the Korean Snow Pear, and Crispy Fish Skin and Jellyfish, to RM108++ (small) and RM188++ (large) for Salmon Yee Sang, and Japanese Hokkigai and Sweet Prawns.
Sliced Abalone Yee Sang is RM148++ (small) and RM268++ (large), while the Australian Live Lobster Yee Sang is RM388++ (small) and RM738++ (large).
