Xinga Pot @ Damansara Utama : Hong Kong Style Hotpot is HERE!

January 2, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

It’s time for HOTPOT especially during these rainy seasons. This time; we are here at Xinga Pot which is a now the latest hype in KL. The Hong Kong Styled Hotpot is one of the MUST to go for if you are a big fan of hotpot.

Located in Damansara Utama, Xinga Hotpot brings you with the Hong Kong style Hotpot. Walking to the restaurant, it is indeed a great experience like bringing me back to Hong Kong during the 80s.  At the first floor, one can enjoy the open dining concept where they cater for smaller groups.

And moving up to the second floor, they come with 4 privates room where they are equipped with Karaoke System. The rooms are specially name and designed after the four heavenly kings – Leon Lai, Aaron Kwok, Andy Lau, and Jacky Cheong.

And the top floor, they have a hidden bar where you can enjoy some drinking and some chill with your friends. In her,if you are looking to have an event, the space can cater up to 30 pax. Sit down by the bar and enjoy some beer and drinks after your heavy hotpot here is indeed a bliss.

Moving to the food, in here A MUST to go for especially for first timer is definitely Signature Golden Fish Tripe Chicken Broth (鲜家黄金花胶鸡汤煲) . The broth is amazingly good which is perfectly cooked till perfection where they are boiled for 8 hours with fish maw, fish tripe and free range chicken. It is one of the signature here, and they explained that it brings loads of goodness due to the rich collagen in it.  To enjoy them, they recommend to have the soup on its own first before adding the ingredients in it so you can enjoy the pure collagen delicious soup which is packed of flavors in it.

As for the ingredients, they have more than 50 choices to go for but of course one must try their Xinga Combo which comes with 4 choices of paste in it. They are Black Truffle Prawn Paste (黑松露虾滑), Ebiko Prawn Paste (蝦子虾滑), Mushroom Pork Paste (东菇猪肉滑)and the  Chilli Cuttlefish Fish Paste ( 辣椒墨斗滑). Each of it are homemade from their kitchen where you can enjoy the purest meat of all.

Besides from their homemade items, one can also order their selection of meat, seafood and vegetables which they have more than 50 choices to choose from. This includes prawns, clams, chicken, pork, beef, lamb slices and many more.  The ingredients are really good and they are fresh too.

Started off with their meat selection, I am loving their Sakura Pork Collar where they are thinly sliced and the taste is just awesomely good where they are so fresh. Other than that, they do have Miyazaki A5 wagyu beef (sliced), New Zealand Slice Lamb, Marinated Drunken Chicken and many more in their list.

Asides from that; they do offer premium seafood as well. This includes geoduck, bostan lobster and many more where you can pre-order minimum one day in advance to avoid disappointment.

And overall, we love the broth here which is superbly good. The broth is indeed packed with goodness and they are really awesome and flavourful. Overall, it is a double thumbs up to their hotpot and we definitely come back for more!
