ANJO: Award-Winning European Dining Restaurant Opens in Petaling Street!

ANJO; a brand new restaurant opens in Petaling Street. Landing in the insta-friendly location with historical vibes in it, ANJO has its own story to tell. If you are not aware,  ANJO means The Angel of Portugal (Portuguese: Anjo de Portugal), also referred to as the Guardian Angel of Portugal the Holy Guardian Angel of Portugal the Custodian. 

The men behind ANJO is Chef Monday who is the Head Chef for Fine Dining. He is awarded as Mondial Des Chef 2010 in Paris and he is  the only chef selected by Malaysian Chef to represent our county.

While, the restaurant is beautifully renovated where they have 2-storey building bringing you with the hue of elegance in it where the exterior is completed with the combination of black and gold exterior. where the Ground Floor will be open for Fine Dining while Level 2 will be for Hidden Bar,

FINE DINING

In here, one can choose to enjoy their meals by witnessing how your chef prepare your food at the LIVE Kitchen sitting. 

You can also choose for a private room to gather with friends or family if you are looking for some privacy and intimate session with them. It is indeed a nice and unique restaurant where they offer you with 2 choices of course menu – 8 courses or 10 courses. And if you looking for vegetarian menu, they have it too. 

And for Christmas; they specially curated the special 10 course menu. If you are looking for a NEW-hype place to celebrate your Christmas, ANJO is definitely a place worth to look forward too. 

LEVEL 1 : HIDDEN BAR

For those who looking for a more fun and live-ly ambiance, they do have the hidden bar which is located at the first floor. They specializes of Cocktails and Snacks.  One can enjoy your drinks with friends here and enjoy their live band. 

One of the MUST TRY here is their One Night in ANJO which is specially curated by their expert bar tender. Using the Jose Cuervo tequila, their bartender curated the drink with the elderflower and apple juice bringing you a sweet hint at the end.

Another must try here is their Jack & Mule cocktail where they are using the Jack Daniel’s liquor added with Dram and Cinnamon. They are specially curated and the taste is just so nice with the light spice of Cinnamon in it.

Aside from that, they have wines from the five Bordeaux first growths. ANJO is among the only 3 restaurants in Kuala Lumpur that offer wines that has the 1855 Bordeaux classification

For more intimate session and their Hidden Bar, they do have private rooms for you to have some gathering, parties and more.
