Tao Chinese Cuisine brings you with the Takeaway CNY Meals!

 It is time for Chinese New  Year again!  From 8 January until 26 February 2021, the stars of Tao Chinese Cuisines – Chef Wong Lian You, executive Chinese chef and Chef Lo Tian Sion, master Dim Sum chef, will bring you on a feast of flavours as we swing into the Year of the Metal Ox, with a range of luxurious oriental feasts, perfect for gatherings with family, friends or business associates.

And this year, Tao Chinese Cuisine once again offers scrumptious menu which includes chef’s specialties set and ala carte options for a memorable celebration. Start of your Lunar Chinese New Year with the toss.  A MUST HAVE delicacies with their signature yee sang or “Lo Hei’’ embarks on a healthy route with Sea Grapes (also known as Green Caviar) with Chia Seed is available at RM98 (Half Set) and RM188 (Full Set).

I am loving the popping sensation with every bite, sea grapes are not only a joy to savour but full of vitamins A and C, calcium, zinc and iron. They also contain a high level of vegetable protein per calorie and a good amount of omega3 fatty acids too. Asides from their signature Sea Grapes (also known as Green Caviar) with Chia, they do offer other yee sang choices such as the Baby Abalone Yee Sang, Soft Shell Crab with Passion Fruit Sauce Yee Sang, Salmon Yee Sang and the Marinated Shredded Sea Cucumber with Vinegar Dressing Yee Sang.

Double-boiled morel mushroom, fish maw, sun-dried scallop, chicken soup

After the Yee Sang, we sampled their delectable soup which is packed with nutrients in one bowl. The Double Boiled Morel Mushroom together with the fish maw, sun-dried scallop and chicken soup is such a comforting and tummy warming soup to go for. 

清蒸顺壳

Steamed marble goby, superior soya sauce

After the wholesome soup, we continued with their awesome steamed marble goby which is beautifully steamed in their superior soya sauce. Each bites of the meat comes simply flaky and we are really in love with it so much! 

桃明炉港式烧伦敦鸭 

Roasted Hong Kong style London duck

Must try here is their famous Roasted Hong Kong Style Duck where they are perfectly roasted with the crispy skin at the top while in the inside remains juicy. They are absolutely delicious where the meat is so juicy and each mouthful is so good that I could not resist.

蟹粉山药球烩竹笙卷

Simmer fresh Chinese yam, bamboo pith roll, crab roe gravy

Served with the golden gravy, the dish comes impressively delicious where they are really irristable dish to enjoy. The fresh Chinese Yam is perfectly cook with the bamboo pith roll and the delicious and flavourful crab roe gravy. 

黑松露蟹肉樱花虾炒飯

Truffle sauce fried rice, dried sakura shrimp, crab meat, spring onion, diced French bean

 We love how the fried rice is done. The fluffy fried rice which is so nice and delicious. They are completed with the generous dried sakura shrimp, crab meat, spring onions and diced French Bean.

Wok Fried Prawn, Lychee Sauce 

If you are a big fan of prawns, you will definitely love this. You can enjoy the wok-fried prawn with the lychee sauce. The fresh prawns is de-shell and then deep fried till golden brown. It is then cook with the lychee sauce. They are perfectly done with the bouncy texture and juicy meat. Yummz!

Ends your meals with their chilled snow bird’s nest, aloe vera, osmanthus oolong tea syrup and the deep-fried purple sweet potato “Ninko”

Now you can grab their takeaway set where it require a minimum two (2) days for processing of order. The luxurious oriental feasts journey brings three set menus representing, Best of The Orient, Eastern Treasures and Opulent Prosperity. Set menu starts from RM208.80 nett per person. 

Best of The Orient set menu priced at RM208.80 nett per person brings succulent seafood options such as Double-boiled Abalone, Walnut and Ming Mu Yu Soup, Deep-Fried King Tiger Grouper with Garlic Lemon Sauce and Stir-Fried Prawns with Garlic, Ginger and

Superior Soy Sauce among others. Eastern Treasures set menu is priced at RM248.80 nett per person, highlighting a traditional Chinese New Year dish enjoyed by families – Steamed Eight Treasure Glutinous Rice, suggesting good fortune in the coming new year.

Our luxurious oriental feast set menu ends with Opulent Prosperity set at RM298.80 per person with a selection of premium ingredients. One of the main highlights are the Roasted Hong Kong-style London Duck and Roast Chicken. A signature Tao dish – upgraded to the Wagyu of Ducks, specially imported from Ireland’s Silver Hill Duck. Melt in your mouth, juicy with every bite.
