Chinese New Year is one of the most anticipated festivals of the Chinese calendar – time for reconnecting with friends and family sharing precious time together. Usher in Lunar New Year at New World Petaling Jaya Hotel with a series of festive offers from delectable dining experiences to irresistible stays!

And this year, one can indulged in the exquisite set menu which is beautifully crafted by the Executive Chef , Khali Zakhem and Banquet Sous Chef Chai Chun Keong this Chinese New Year

Prosperity Sliced Salmon Yee Sang 
万紫千红贺新岁 :  三文鱼捞生

New World Hotel offers you with the delicious Prosperity Sliced Salmon Yee Sang. One can enjoy the well prepared yee sang where the colourful yee sang is topped with their generous thick salmon with it. Tossed your Chinese New Year this year with all the good words and more prosperity and luck.

Double Boiled Black Garlic Chicken Soup with Fresh Wai Shan
大展鸿图满堂红 :  药膳淮山黑蒜鸡汤

One can enjoy the delicious bowl of chicken soup where they are packed with the nutritious elements in it. The soup comes amazingly good where they are packed with aromatic flavours.

Roasted Sesame Chicken with Mongolian Sauce and Fresh Onion Rings
金鸡报喜喜上喜 : 芝麻烧鸡,蒙古酱配洋葱圈

Fill up your tummy with the awesomelicious delights. One can grab the delicious roasted sesame chicken which is packed with the fragrant Mongolian sauce. Sides with the fresh onion rings.

Wok Fried Tiger Prawns with Crispy Rice
祥龙齐贺拜新年 : 脆米炒草虾

One can enjoy the fresh  wok fried tiger prawns that is topped with the addictive bites of the crispy rice. It has a light twist of spiciness in it and every mouthful comes simply good and delicious.

Steamed Tiger Grouper with Fresh Beancurd Stick and Light Soy Sauce 
千秋大业庆有余:  清蒸龙虎斑,鲜竹枝

This is such a comfort meal where the grouper is perfectly steamed and the meat comes simply flaky. We love every mouthful of it as it brings you the complete seafood sweetness in it.

 
Dried Oyster, Black Mushroom, Black Moss and Vegetables
三星拱照齐发财: 蚝士冬菇发菜金元宝

Love this awesomely prepared dish. The hearty dish comes just perfect to our tastebuds. The dried oysters are really good and well paired with the juicy black mushroom.

Claypot Rice with Chinese Preserved Duck and Diced Chicken
粒金银堆满屋: 腊鸭, 鸡粒腊味瓦煲饭

We ends our meals with the claypot rice together with the Chinese preserved duck and the diced chicken.  It is simply delicious and good where every mouthful of the rice comes fluffy and completed with the aromatic preservrd duck and diced chicken.

Chilled Peach Resin Aloe Vera and Dried Longan
甜甜蜜蜜迎新春: 桃胶芦荟龙眼糖水
 
Fried Nian Gao / Strawberry Mochi
步步高升通四海: 千丝炸年糕/草莓芝士麻糬

One can enjoy the soothing bowl of desserts which is the Chilled Peach Resin Aloe Vera and Dried Longan. Each mouthful of the desserts comes soothing with sweetness in it. Nice one.  It is accompanied with the fried nian gao and strawberry mochi too.


Blessing starts from RM1588 nett per table of 10 and highlight such dishes as Prosperity Yee Sang, Mini Buddha Jumps Over the Wall, Steamed Tiger Garoupa with Fresh Beancurd Stick and Light Soy Sauce, Wok-fried Tiger Prawn with Crispy Rice and many more.

Asides, one can also celebrate the Lunar New Year festivities with festive buffets at Pasar Baru and enjoy a resplendent spread of Malaysian and International delights. Tuck into an array of fresh Seafood on Ice, such as assorted clams, mussels, prawns, yabbies and others, as well as a variety of classic Chinese roasts, featuring Roast Chicken and Hainansese Chicken.

Start off the feast with delectable Yee Sang included in the buffet spread as you toss to prosperity with family and friends. Mouth-watering favourites for Lunar New Year make an appearance such as Steamed Garoupa in Superior Soy Sauce to signify an abundance of luck and prosperity, Wok-Fried Tiger Prawns for a year of laughter and happiness and a sweet start to the year with Deep-Fried Nian Gao.
