“Santapan Selera Ramadan” Buffet at Hotel Istana Kuala Lumpur City Centre

Filled up the Ramadan this year in Hotel Istana. And this year, Hotel Istana Kuala Lumpur City Centre’s Executive Chef, Al Fitri Al Bakri and his culinary team will be featuring a delectable Ramadan halal buffet spread of over 100 dishes, which will show-case the best of authentic local dishes and flavours that will remind you of home.

We started off the sweet , sourish and yet appetizing appetizers. This includes
Kerabu Daging Tomato, Kerabu Kacang Botol Udang Kering, Kerabu Ayam Pegaga, Kerabu Sotong Bunga Kantan, Nyiloh Perut, Kerabu Mangga Muda Ikan Bilis, Kerabu taugeh, Somtam, Kerabu Udang, Kerabu Daun Ceylon, Kerabu Nangka Muda Kerabu Pucuk Paku, Tahu Sumbat,  Vietnam Spring Roll, Acar Buah,Acar Nyonya, Acar Jelatah and many more.

And of course, don’t miss out their awesomely delicious mains which includes the Salmon Fish Head Curry, Malaysian Satay, Hot Claypot BBQ Chicken Rice, Long Grain Basmati Rice served with Lamb Briyani, Chicken Tikka, Lamb Keema, Chicken Butter Masala, Vegetable Korma Dhal Makhni, Plain, Coriander Garlic and Butter Naan and many more.

Guests can also look forward to Chefs’ Live Action Stations, where local favourites such as Chay Kuey Teow, Lemang and its condiments and the Carvery Station (Whole Roasted Balinese Marinated Lamb served with a selection of Vegetables with Mustard, Black Pepper, Mushroom and Rosemary Sauce) and the list goes on.

To add to the excitement of this gastronomic journey, our Chefs have also added signatures dishes from various states in Malaysia and countries such as Pakistani Briyani, Murtabak Singapore, Vietnamese Spring Roll, among others.

In addition to an authentic Malay fare, patrons can also choose from a selection of Indian, Western, Chinese and Fusion cuisines, so there is something for everyone.

As most Malaysians love the King of Fruits, Hotel Istana is also presenting a diversity of Durian Delights in the form of Glutionous Rice With Serawa Durian, Dodol Durian,  Cendol Durian, ABCD – Air Batu Campur with Durian and Durian Crepes.

End the great culinary journey with sweet selections that include Malay Kuih such as Keria, Onde-Onde, Cucur Badak, Bingka Ubi, Tepung Talam, Kuih Lapis or if you fancy a healthy dessert, seasonal local fruits will be on the buffet counter. If you are looking for something more Western – we have Bread and Butter Pudding, Apple/Blueberry Crumble, Tiramisu, Chocolate Brownies, Cream Brulee.

For group and private buka puasa gatherings, Hotel Istana is able to arrange for these events to take place in our function rooms.

In addition to a great venue for breaking fast, there will be a designated prayer room, prayer mats and sandals during Ramadan.

“Santapan Selera Ramadan” Buffet at Taman Sari Brasserie in Hotel Istana Kuala Lumpur is priced at only RM158.00 nett per adult, from 8 May to 4 June 2019.

Our Raya Buffet Hi-Tea will be available on 5 and 6 June 2018 from 12.30 pm to 4.30 pm for only RM98 nett per adult.
