Dim Sum & Mooncake Delights @ Pullman Kuala Lumpur Bangsar

September 21, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

It is always time for dim sum. Being a dim sum lover, I always crave for dim sum especially weekends with family. And recently, we visited a very nice place for some dim sum with the view of the busy Federal Highway. And this time, we found out that, one of the Chef Ng who is formerly from a famous hotel restaurant chef is now in Pullman’s Oriental Chinese Restaurant.

Being that, Chef Ng had also created a variety of special dim sums for its diner to enjoy. We started off our meal with their signature Butter Pea flower glutinous rice with chicken, mushroom and sun-dried scallops. As we know, blue pea flowers are some of the beneficial products in health and Chef had put it in the glutinous rice. It makes the nice not just taste better but colorful as well.

The Yam croquettes are perfectly deep fried till perfection with the crispy exterior and in the inside, it remains the moist and juicy texture. And the inside of the yam croquettes, you can find the chunky minced chicken together with the sun-dried scallop. The taste is simply awesome and I am loving the crunchy bites of it.

Steamed Rice Rolls Shrimp and Golden Maize
I always love the Steamed Rice Rolls Shrimps and the Golden Maize. The dish is simply superb where you can taste the smooth texture of the steamed rice rolls and the crunchy bites of the yao char kaoy inside.

Eggplant shaped Glutinous rice ball with purple sweet potato
This is so cute and lovely by looking at it. I am actually loving the look of it. The glutinous rice ball with purple sweet potato comes simply delicious and the taste of the sweet potato is fragrant.

Crystal shrimp dumplings with Australian scallop

The dumpling is just perfect to my tastebuds. The dumplings come pluppy and juicy with the fresh prawns inside.

Chicken Siu Mai with black truffle
For those who love some siu mai, u can have the chicken siu mai here and they are topped with the black truffle on top. Nicely done.

Chicken Siu Mai with crushed salted egg yolk
And one of their uniquely prepared siu mai is now with the salted egg yolk. Enjoy the new style of dim sum where they are served with egg yolk with it.

Asides from that, don’t miss out their Signature Pan – Fried Durian Malay Cake, Matcha Buns with Pumpkin Paste and also the Homemade Durian Bun which is superbly delicious.

And now you can purchase their beautiful mooncake selection which is their highlights this round. Two of their highlight mooncake selection is their homemade Musang King Durian Skin Mooncake  and Birds Nest Skin Mooncake.

Asides from that Pullman Bangsar also offers a wide choice of mooncakes. There’s 3 gift boxes for you to choose from, the Pullman Signature Series and Elegance Gold Series which comprises 4 types of baked mooncakes and the Royal Imperial Treasure that contains 6 pieces mooncakes. Some of the venue where you can purchase the mooncake includes :
