NESTLÉ TARGETS RM1 MILLION IN SALES ON SHOPEE

Shopee, the No 1 mobile-first marketplace in Southeast Asia and Taiwan has been chosen by Nestlé Malaysia as their latest online shopping partner. Nestlé targets RM1 million in sales by offering bundled food and beverages (F&B) under 14 different brands.

This is part of Nestlé’s pre-campaign promotion happening in April called “Wellness-Together-Gather”. The Wellness Together-Gather campaign which took place in October 2016 was the first multibrand nutrition, health and wellness campaign in Malaysia and the largest e-commerce campaign for groceries. Nestlé Malaysia estimates the e-commerce business to reach RM500 million in the near future.

“Nestlé has been one of the favourite brands that we hold so close to our hearts, from birth to adulthood . We want consumers to enjoy shopping for their favourite Nestlé’s products by transforming their retail shopping habits to going fully online for their own convenience,” said Ian Ho, Shopee’s Regional Managing Director.

According to Joshua Zhu, Head of E-commerce, Nestlé Malaysia, “The e-commerce channel is one of the most powerful growth engines in Nestlé Malaysia. Shopee’s unique shopping experience has made it a remarkable platform for us to collaborate with and we look forward to establishing new standards together! ”
