Journey through Peru with Executive Chef Carlos Pardo Figueroa at The Library, The Ritz-Carlton Kuala Lumpur

The Library at The Ritz-Carlton Kuala Lumpur welcomes with the talented guest chef where the Executive Guest Chef Carlos Pardo Figueroa will debut his Peruvian Specailities for the first time in Malaysia. The Peru Mucho Gusto – A Peruvian Culinary Showcase is held from November 26 until December 4th is one of the much anticipated collaboration with the Embassy of Republic of Peru in conjunction with the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishments of Peru and Malaysia’s diplomatic ties.

And being that, Guest Chef Carlos Pardo Figueroa has curated exquisite menus for dinner and Sunday Roast that are to be experienced at The Library, the hotel beautiful and elegant dining room. Bringing you with the traditional, and quality orhganic products that is being showcased for the first time at the gastronomy events in Malaysia. And during the week, Chef Figueroa will be cooking with the ingridients includes Quinoa, Kiwicha, Chirimoya, Lucuma, Amaranto, Camu Camu and Perivian Aji Chillies are amongst the array of unique products which are specially flown from Peru. During this promotion, gourmands and guests will journey through Peru with the exquisite four course menu designed by Chef Figueroa.

Amuse- Bouche
Octopus, Olives
The platter beautiful at sight where the fresh,chewy octopus which is being marinated is being sides with the capsicums, olives, and peppermint sauce by the side. The great combination which a flavourful blend is indeed a perfect dish to start off.

The appetiser trio comes with the beautiful petite look is indeed impressive. Start your self here with the Quinoa Tabouleh with the Balsamic Vinaigrette, Avocado Mousse and Crispy Cheese and the Maki-shapaed Causa filled with the Avocado, Cucumber, topped with Tuna in Acevichada Suace and the White Cream Cevihe with Brulee Sweet Potatoes and Corn. It is such a memorable appetizer that you will be dying for and each one comes with much surprises in it.
 The main course, choose from 3 choices from the AjiDe Gallina, Anticuchos De Pescado or the Risotto A la HuanCaina, Classic Lomo Saltado.
