Galloping into the Year of the Horse with LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort

 This Lunar New Year, LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort invites families to step into a world where tradition meets imagination, as it welcomes the Year of the Horse with a month-long, brick-built Lunar New Year Celebration, running from 22 January to 22 February 2026.

Inspired by the theme “Garden of Prosperity”, the Resort has been transformed into a vibrant festive playground filled with glowing red lanterns, blooming cherry blossoms and immersive LEGO® creations. At the heart of the celebration stands a striking 2.4-metre LEGO® Horse centrepiece – a powerful symbol of strength, renewal and good fortune. 

Inspired by the LEGO 40779 Year of the Horse Chinese Zodiac Limited Edition set, the majestic Horse carries an auspicious scroll of blessings for the year ahead, creating a must-see photo moment for families and LEGO fans alike. 

Build Your Luck, Brick by Brick

At the heart of the celebration is an interactive adventure that invites guests to build, play and prosper together. Families and young builders can pick up an activity card and trot around the park as they complete creative challenges to unlock the magic of the “Garden of Prosperity” – one brick at a time.

Hands-on festive activities include:

☑️Build-A-Horse, where guests build their own symbol of energy, courage and good fortun

☑️LEGO Orange Tree Making, stack prosperity and happiness onto every branch as you build and take home this special creation.

☑️LEGO Chinese Calligraphy Mural, where culture meets creativity through brick-built artistry

☑️Minifigure Trading, the classic LEGOLAND favourite loved by fans

☑️LEGO Horse Post & Win, where snapping a photo with the centrepiece could rein in weekly prizes

☑️Spring Festival Spectacular: Galloping into Lunar New Year Traditions

From 17 to 22 February 2026, the celebration reaches full stride with the Spring Festival Spectacular, a high-energy showcase of cultural performances that bring Lunar New Year traditions to life, LEGO style.

Guests can look forward to:

☑️Lion Dance Blessings & Acrobatic High Pole Performances

☑️Dragon Dance Performances

☑️Stilts Walker Acrobatic Acts

☑️Oriental Live Music Performances

☑️Chinese Face-Changing Acts

☑️Ancient Drum Shows

☑️Adding to the festive rhythm, daily live shows throughout the celebration include Brick of Prosperity (Opening Show), Lunar Beats Spectacular, and Finale of Fortune (Farewell Show) – each packed with colour, music and interactive moments that celebrate unity, joy and new beginnings.

Fortune Fest: Prizes of Prosperity Await

Good fortune extends beyond the festivities! From 17 to 22 February 2026, Fortune Fest rewards guests who spend RM188 or more in a single receipt at participating retail or F&B outlets.

Lucky builders stand a chance to win LEGO sets worth up to RM800, with total prizes valued at RM10,000 – proof that prosperity really does come brick-built.
