Malaysian romantic movie Dubai My Love has recently completed its filming in Dubai, where local actor and actress Erwin Dawson and Hanna Aqeela explored iconic attractions throughout the emirate to tell their romantic stories. Post-production is underway and the film is scheduled for release in March 2017. The public will now have a chance to follow in the stars’ footsteps in Dubai by booking a special package at MATTA FAIR, the flagship consumers’ travel fair in Kuala Lumpur, during September 2 – 4, 2016.
The different facets of Dubai
The crew made their way to a wide range of remarkable places of interest in Dubai, uncovering the Emirate’s varied and exciting highlights. They set foot in Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world; strolled along the promenade at Dubai Marina and Jumeirah Beach; hopped onto a jeep to visit the desert for sandboarding; explored the stunning architecture of Jumeirah Mosque and wandered around various colorful souks.

Visiting Dubai for the first time, both the lead actor and actress found the journey unforgettable. “I was absolutely amazed by the diversity Dubai has on offer. At one of the key scenes in the movie, I had the chance to do sandboarding at the desert – it was fun, exciting, and came with a wonderful view. It was definitely the highlight of my trip.” said Erwin Dawson. Hanna Aqeela also commented, “Filming at Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, with the sunset as backdrop, truly made my heart melt. We are really thankful for the support provided by Dubai Tourism and the filming opportunity presented by the Tsar Asia production team.”
