A Celebration of Tradition and Elegance: Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur Unveils 2025 Mid-Autumn Mooncake Collection

July 18, 2025 by StrawberrY Gal

As the full moon rises and lanterns glow softly against the evening sky, the Mid-Autumn Festival returns with its timeless rituals of storytelling, moon-gazing, and sharing mooncakes with loved ones. This year, Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur honours the cherished tradition with its exquisite 2025 Mid-Autumn Festival Collection — a luxurious selection of mooncakes crafted with elegance, symbolism, and culinary artistry under the direction of Chinese Executive Chef Keith Yeap.

Inspired by the enduring beauty of the peony flower, a symbol of prosperity, honour, and harmonious relationships, the collection fuses tradition with contemporary finesse. From the intricate presentation of each gift box to the thoughtful layering of flavours, every mooncake embodies grace, meaning, and refinement. The full collection will be available from 15 July to 6 October 2025.

“Each mooncake is more than a treat — it’s a gesture of heartfelt giving,” shares Chef Keith Yeap. “This year, I wanted to honour tradition while offering a sense of balance, warmth, and connection in every bite.”
