A Spooktacular Halloween Feast at Lemon Garden, Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur

October 26, 2026 by StrawberrY Gal

This Halloween, Lemon Garden at Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur sets the scene for an evening of imaginative cuisine and seasonal fun. On 31 October 2026, Executive Chef Eric Fettke and his culinary team present a Halloween Buffet Dinner featuring creatively named dishes, enticing flavours and playful touches inspired by the occasion.
Drawing on the playful traditions of Halloween, the culinary team has given the menu a creative twist, with featured dishes carrying names that spark curiosity and hint at the flavours within. From The Witch’s Cauldron to Dracula’s Feast, these imaginative creations add a touch of mischief to the dining experience, turning familiar culinary favourites into conversation starters at the buffet table.

Set within Lemon Garden’s welcoming dining space, the Halloween dinner features a generous buffet spread showcasing a diverse selection of international flavours across its live culinary stations.
Alongside the restaurant’s buffet favourites, diners can explore a selection of Halloween-inspired savoury dishes and desserts, making it an inviting occasion for families and friends to gather over a varied spread.
Among the savoury highlights, The Black Cat pairs charcoal-grilled short rib with smoked potato purée, bringing rich, savoury flavours together with deep smoky notes. Seafood lovers can discover The Spider’s Web, featuring black tagliolini with seafood, while Dracula’s Feast presents roasted leg of lamb on the bone finished with a blackberry glaze, balancing the richness of the roast with a fruity, sweet-tart finish. For a distinctive combination, Vampire’s Kiss brings together beetroot-cured salmon and horseradish cream, pairing earthy sweetness with a gentle peppery kick.
Other savoury highlights include The Witch’s Cauldron, a comforting seafood bisque, and The Midnight Garden, featuring heirloom beetroot with candied walnuts for a pleasing contrast of earthy flavours, sweetness and crunch. Rounding out the selection are The Graveyard, a layered shepherd’s pie, Frankenstein’s Monster, a stuffed flank steak roll and The Toxic Swamp, featuring a whole salmon prepared in a salt crust.
The Halloween theme carries through to the dessert selection, where familiar sweet treats receive a playful makeover. The Moonlit Grave combines dark chocolate crémeux with chocolate soil for an indulgent cocoa experience, while The Bleeding Cauldron gives the classic Black Forest combination a Halloween twist in the form of a lava cake. Those who prefer brighter flavours can try Vampire’s Blood, a raspberry and rose pavlova balancing tangy fruit with delicate floral notes, or The Black Cat’s Eye, a yuzu tart topped with Italian meringue for a refreshing citrus finish.
More tempting creations include The Haunted Forest, combining chestnut and chocolate mousse with hazelnut sponge, and The Witch’s Broomstick, serving cinnamon churros with chocolate sauce. For a playful finishing touch, The Skeleton’s Secret features meringue skeletons accompanied by strawberry sauce, while The Mummy completes the selection with a spiced pumpkin cheesecake tart.
Featuring an array of international favourites, local flavours and imaginative Halloween creations, Lemon Garden invites diners to experience an evening of culinary discovery and seasonal fun. Guests are welcome to celebrate Halloween with a one-night-only buffet experience filled with playful touches, creative presentations and a variety of flavours to explore.
At Lemon Garden, Rooted in Nature highlights locally and sustainably sourced ingredients through carefully crafted dishes that celebrate the goodness of whole foods. Each offering is thoughtfully prepared to maximise nutrition and flavour while limiting salt, sugar and additives. Guests can identify
