SPANISH SENSATION LLAOLLAO SET TO START A FROZEN YOGURT CULTURE IN MALAYSIA

December 16, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

llaollao, the Spanish yogurt sensation that sparked the global yogurt culture across four continents, is now available in Malaysia.

llaollao, the Number One frozen yogurt brand in Europe and Asia, is encouraging Malaysians to adopt a healthier lifestyle by providing a wholesome meal option which is low in calorie and fat, but high in flavour. llaollao is more than a dessert or snack – it is so good it can be a meal on its own!

Pronounced as Yao Yao, llaollao is produced fresh on site – you won’t be able to find a frozen yogurt any fresher than llaollao. Made of skimmed milk at the moment of serving, a tub of llaollao yogurt contains 46% of your recommended daily allowance of calcium. While llaollao is low fat, low calorie and gluten free, taste is not compromised as the yogurt remains rich and creamy.

For a twist of flavour, llaollao offers a wide range of toppings, which range from fresh fruits and sauces, to crunches such as cereals, brittle, caramelised seeds, muesli, cookies, nuts and even classics like KitKat®, OREO®, Toblerone® and Chips Ahoy!®. These crunches and sauces are imported from Europe, and most of them are unavailable on the shelves of your local supermarket. In fact, to keep it exciting, these toppings will constantly evolve in line with the changing seasons – look out for regular introductions of new flavours!

Living up to its tagline of Small Pleasures, Great Flavours, the smooth and refreshing llaollao is served in a variety of ways – Tubs, Sensations, Granillao, Sanum and Smoothies. The flagship product, Sanum, is a yogurt parfait that comprises three layers of fresh fruits and two layers of crunch, topped with a sauce of your choice.

“llaollao are pioneers, not only in introducing frozen yogurt to many different countries, but also in achieving a delicious and genuine formula, respecting the true flavour of yogurt and all its goodness 100%. Our aspiration is to be the number one yogurt brand in Malaysia by providing consumers with a wholesome meal option. We believe in small pleasures, great flavours,” said Tan Kai Young, Director of Petra Empire Sdn Bhd.

llaollao’s success story started in 2009 in Spain, and within two years, it has established more than 100 outlets around the globe. Today, llaollao is available in approximately 200 outlets across 26 countries in Europe, Asia, South America and Africa.

The first llaollao outlet in Malaysia  opened in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur on October 19, 2015, and received a warm reception as consumers queued up to have a first taste of the world renowned yogurt. The second outlet opened in Mid Valley Megamall on December 2, 2015, also to an overwhelming response.

“We are committed to the Malaysian market and plan to open 35 outlets by end of 2018. llaollao has been a runaway success in Singapore, and we are confident of replicating that success here as the consumer lifestyle of both countries are similar,” said Mr Tan.

“The global trend is that consumers are moving towards products made of natural ingredients. Similarly in Malaysia, consumers are increasingly health conscious, yet continue to be discerning in terms of taste. With llaollao, we have a gratifying product that makes up a healthy balanced diet, as it is natural yet delicious,” added Mr Tan.
