J AEON CO. (M) BHD will once again be hosting a Japanese Fair at AEON Bandar Utama and AEON Mid Valley from 12 November 2015 – 25 November 2015. This event was organized to introduce the multi-faceted splendours of Japan’s food exclusively from 6 prefectures – Akita, Niigata, Iwate, Mie, Tokushima and Hiroshima.
During the two weeks fair, visitors to the store will be given the opportunity to enjoy great tasting food including dried fish, fish cake, dates vinegar, mandarin oranges from Mie, wasabi dressing from Iwate, miso and fruit juice from Hiroshima, mandarin oranges from Hiroshima and konjac noodles from Tokushima.
At this fair, Mie prefecture will also be promoting pearls and tourism. A tourism information booth will be set up at the fair. Visitors are able to find out more about Mie, one of the oldest prefectures in Japan, the birthplace of ninjas and the martial art form of Ninjutsu, and was known for supplying food to royal households during ancient times. Mie is also the birthplace of AEON.
The Official Opening Ceremony of JAPAN FAIR will take place from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on 12 November 2015 at AEON Bandar Utama. There will be food tasting of special food items presented by each prefectures.
