NGAM TOM YUM NOODLES @ BANGSAR

NGAM

NGAM

Located in between the Toyato Showroom and Zaibi Motor, here comes another hidden jewel which is Ngam. Named after a Thai word “Ngam” means beautiful; the restaurant has not much focus on their interior. The setup are basically basic, almost no frills and the menu comes pretty simple.

NGAM

The starters comes simply decent where we had the Fried Crispy Wanton (RM 6.90) which is where the wanton is being deep fried till crispiness and in the inside it is juicy. Nice to go for while waiting for your mains to come.

NGAM
Served next is the Thai Fish Cake (RM 7.90) which is deep fried till perfection. The fish cake is good and for some kick of light spiciness, dipped the Thai Chilly Sauce with it.
NGAM
The Deep Fried Chicken (RM 7.90) is another good combination where the chicken wings is being seasoned with lemongrass. The fried chicken is indeed appetizing with the robust flavours and aroma.

NGAM
Their signature dish is of course the Seafood Tom Yum Noodles (RM 98.00). Not too spicy and it is filled with the creamy base soup, the tomyam noodles is obviously double thumbs up. Using the Thai Noodles, it served with the huge river prawn,  generous piece of salmon and also squid. Every mouthful is simply addictive and the portion is good for sharing for 2 – 3 pax. For 1pax dining, you can grab the smaller set without the lobster but good for one at RM 13.90
NGAM
Thai Creamy Omelette with Spicy Sauce(RM 11.90) comes awesomely good where the hearty bowl of white rice is topped with the creamy omellete and served with an appetizing sauce with it.
NGAM
Tom Yum Fried Rice (RM 11.90) comes with the kick of spiciness. I love the way it is bein served.
"NGAM
The Steam Bread with Thai Sang Kaya (RM 5.90) wins our heart with the first munch. The warm fluffy bread served with the creamy coconut kaya is amazingly good and filled with the frangrance of coconut and pandan with it.
NGAM
The Thai Steam Coconut Pandang Pudding (Ka Nhom Tuay) RM 2.90 for 2) comes creamy and sweet. Something nice to end our meal.
NGAM
Need some desserts, try their red ruby (RM 5.90) which is served with the crushed ice. The red ruby comes simpply good with the crunchy and chewy bites together with the sweet jackfruit.

Ngam is indeed a nice place to go for and price is somewhat fair.
