A PIZZA FEAST WITH A LOCAL TWIST!

July 9, 2013 By StrawberrY Gal - Food News 1 Comment

“Fusing the best of both worlds” best illustrates the latest offering from Pizza Hut, greeting all pizza lovers this coming Ramadan and Raya celebration. The Citarasa Ramadan was especially created for family and friends to share great moments together over an abundance of delicious tasting pizzas and sides.

Pizza Hut has done it again! The latest addition to Pizza Hut’s long list of unique creations, the Sari Lautan Pizza! Fusing the exotic asam pedas sauce with an abundance of fresh succulent prawns, savoury tuna, crabsticks and cheese. The toppings are then generously spread over Pizza Hut’s signature pan crust pizza. It’s truly a feast that will please your appetite!

“If you are after a fusion of new pizza culture, you will surely have to try this pizza. It’s something Italian and something Malaysian in a single slice, all smothered in cheesy goodness,” said Datuk Ahmad Zaki Zahid, Managing Director of QSR Brands (M) Holdings Sdn Bhd, operator of Pizza Hut Malaysia.

“We are proud to be the number one choice when it comes to great tasting “signature” pizzas that customers love at an affordable price. At Pizza Hut, our R&D team is constantly finding ways to create unique, one of a kind pizzas for our customers. So, this time around, it’s a pleasure to be able to present to our customers something different this coming Ramadan and Hari Raya celebration,” he added.

The Sari Lautan Pizza can be purchased at an affordable price of RM25.00 (Regular) and RM34.00 (Large) for a’la carte. As for the combo meals for dine-in, Citarasa 1, which comprises of one Regular Sari Lautan Pizza, two soup-of-the-day, one Istimewa Platter, four pieces of Garlic Breadstix and two glasses of Mirinda Strawberry. This combo is priced at RM39.80 (saves RM19.00). Whilst Citarasa 2 consists of one large Sari Lautan Pizza, four soup-of-the-day, one Istimewa Platter, four pieces of Garlic Breadstix, and one pitcher of Mirinda Strawberry. This combo is priced at RM59.80 (saves RM16.20). These prices are applicable at all Pizza Hut outlets in Peninsular Malaysia except at Pizza Hut KLCC and Genting Highlands.

The Istimewa Platter can also be purchased a’la carte for only RM20.80. The platter consist of delicious Honey BBQ wings and drumettes, juicy chicken meatballs with slices of capsicum and onions along with crispy criss cut fries.

In conjunction with the World Hunger Relief 2013 Campaign and in the spirit of giving, every meal that you buy, can help save a child’s life. From every Citarasa Ramadan Combo purchased, RM0.50 will be donated to the World Food Programme (customers who do not wish to participate can opt to do so by informing the service crew).

The advertising and promotion strategies for the Pizza Sari Lautan includes newspaper and online social media announcements, as well as below the line – point of sales material (POSM) and leaflets – for a wider reach to customers.

Pizza Sari Lautan is now available at all Pizza Hut restaurants in the country for a limited duration of two months, starting from 20 June till 1 August 2013.
