 Zipangu by Nadaman, the acclaimed Japanese restaurant nestled within Shangri La Kuala Lumpur, is proud to announce the arrival of guest chef Akutsu Yoshiya, the chief head chef from  Nadaman Tokyo, Japan. From 18 to 30 May 2024, Chef Akutzu will bring his unparalleled expertise in Teppanyaki  cuisine to delight diners with an exclusive culinary experience.  

Prepare to be captivated by the mastery of guest chef Akutzu, a renowned Teppanyaki maestro with over 40 years  of experience and a fervent passion for culinary innovation. His dedication to excellence promises to transport  guests on a gastronomic journey like never before. 

Highlights of Chef Akutzu’s signature creations include the tantalizing Teppanyaki Lobster with Sea Urchin Sauce  served with fresh Sea Urchin and Truffle, a delightful treat for seafood aficionados. Guests can also indulge in the  rich flavours of Teppanyaki A5 Japanese Black Wagyu Sirloin and Tenderloin, expertly paired with seasonal  vegetables to create a harmonious symphony of taste. 

Don’t miss the opportunity to experience a culinary masterpiece on 24 and 25 May with our special 4-Hands dinner set menu, presented by Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur’s very own Zipangu Head Chef Takizawa and Chef Akutzu.  Embark on an exquisite culinary journey accompanied by a sake pairing session led by Sake Sommelier Danny  Leong. This unique collaboration promises an unforgettable dining experience that celebrates the finest flavours  of Japan. The 4-Hands dinner set menu priced at RM740 for dinner menu only and RM920 with Sake pairing. 

Teppanyaki will be available for both lunch and dinner throughout the promotional period, offering guests the  flexibility to indulge in this culinary extravaganza at their convenience.
