Opening not long in the newly revamped Jaya Shopping Centre had comes up with more eatery. The Bari-Uma Ramen Japanese Restaurant which is located inside the Jaya Shopping Centre is serving a variety of ramen and side dishes. Located at the third floor of the mall, it is easily spotted as it is located together with the stretch of eateries there like the Soup Restaurant. Heritage Village and more.

Cozy environment with the friendly staff; we are greeted with a smile and menu is held. Menu is pretty simple where the first two pages menu is all about ramen and the next too will be on the side dishes and drinks.

Yakitori Combo (RM13.90 (5 sticks)) comes with the combination of the 5 sticks of yakitori sticks where there are – pork and chicken thighs with leeks, pork belly, and chicken breast sasami and toriniku. The skewer of the yakitori brings us with the flavorsome bites. Chewy and juicy chicken meat is just good as it is and 5 skewers is never enough for us.

Chicken Gyoza.( RM 11 (5pcs) Rm20 (10pcs)) comes to my favorite. The pan fried Japanese chicken dumpling packed with juiciness in the inside while at the outside it remains on the crispiness of the skin itself. It woud be good that they have some ginger to goes together on the plate of the chicken gyoza.

Negi Mayo Gyoza ( RM12 (5pcs) Rm22 (10pcs)) comes with the hint of spiciness in it compare to their normal gyoza. For those who love to get the touch of spiciness, do try their Negi Mayo Gyoza instead.

Noritama-Uma(RM 29.00) is one of the chef recommendation delights. Comparing to the Bari-Uma Ramen, there is slight difference which is additional of seaweed as well as egg. The slice of seaweed added with the pork flavored shoyu soup and the springy noodles is making the delectable soup so slurpy and addictive. The porky licious char shu taste good too. As for the broth it is just nice where the broth is not too rich nor too thick, it is just a perfect blend for a ramen soup.

Kara-Uma Ramen (RM 26.00) comes well for spicy lover. The awesome spiciness with the bamboo shoots served together with the springy noodles. Awesome delights to look for if you are looking for some kick to your ramen.

For rice lover, they can grab some rice dishes too. We gad the Ishiyaki Chaofan Shrimp (RM 15.90). The hearty fried rice comes with the standard portion of rice and served in the hot stone bowl. It’s comes with a generous amount of prawns with it. Lovely rice dishes here

The Aburi-Chashu (RM18.80) is another chef’s recommendation, we order a plate ti try. With 4 pieces in the plate, the thick –cut flamed cha shu is well grilled till perfection. It’s juiciness remains as it is and I am indeed falling in love with the chasu too.

We ended our meal with the awesome scoop of Black Sesame Ice Cream. (RM 7.90). The imported ice cream is very refained and packed with the abundance of sesame with it. The taste is awesome.

Overall, the meal is Bari-Uma is just awesome with the great selection of ramen and delicious gyoza. It is a great place for Ramen here. I supposed the shop will be my visit when I am tempted for ramen for lunch since office is too near here.
