TROPICAL SPICE GARDEN

The Tropical Spice Garden is another prime tourist attraction in Penang where the place is nicely located in a 8 acre valley fronting the shores of Teluk Bahang, it showcase a landscaped garden that consist of tropical collection from all over the world.

There are more than 500 varieties of tropical herbs and spices and it is excellently tranquil and a suitable place to immerse one’s self in the splendours of Mother Nature, this veritable secret garden is the place to be.The 3 Tropical Spice Garden trail to follow are:

– One of the Spices –

Spice Trail – Over 100 varieties of tropical spice and herbs plant
Ornamental Trail – A huge collection of exotic flora

– The Jungle Trails –

Jungle Trail – A showcase of ferns, wild orchids, palms and other significant jungle flora.

Inside there is a Spice museum, Spice cafe, Gift Shop and also a Garden Shop.Do enjoy yourself in the garden in the cafe as well as enjoying the breathtaking ocean view that can be seen from there

 Visiting hours 
Open 9 am to 6 pm daily. Last admission at 5.30 pm.

Family (2 adults and up to 3 children): RM 35(Self-guidedTour)
RM 55 (Guided Tour)

Adult: RM 14 (Self-guidedTour)
RM 22 (Guided Tour)

Child (aged 4-12):RM 8(Self-guidedTour & Guided Tour)
* Free for children under 4 years of age

Getting here

 Via Public Transport
The public buses which come directly to the Garden are No. 102 Rapid Penang (Airport – Teluk Bahang – Airport) and No. 101 Rapid Penang (Weld Quay – Teluk Bahang – Weld Quay).

By Road 
It’s located at Teluk Bahang. From Geogetown follow the signboard heading to Batu Feringgi. It’s about 20 minute.
