In the ever-bustling SS15 food scene, Three Plates Full stands out as a sanctuary of warm hospitality and bold flavours. With its rustic wooden interiors and inviting ambiance, it blends the comfort of a neighbourhood eatery with the sophistication of a modern bistro.
Our culinary journey began with the Cajun Chicken Caesar — a vibrant plate of crisp romaine, cherry tomatoes, and golden sourdough croutons crowned with perfectly grilled chicken breast. The seasoning was bold yet balanced, delivering a Caesar salad that is both refreshing and hearty.
Next came the Prawn Toast , a crowd favourite and rightfully so. Tiger prawn paste spread generously on baguette, topped with sesame and a drizzle of sriracha mayo — every bite delivered crunch, savoury depth, and a lingering heat.
From there, indulgence only grew. The Crispy Dark Fried Chicken arrived golden and audibly crisp, the house’s proprietary batter giving way to juicy, tender meat. It was fried chicken elevated to addictive perfection.
The showstopper, however, was the Rum & Coke Iberico Baby Ribs. Spanish ribs slow-braised in dark rum and coke, served with garlic confit, purple cabbage slaw, and lime — smoky, sweet, tangy, and utterly tender. Each bite melted effortlessly, leaving behind a harmony of flavours that lingered long after.
Not to be overshadowed, the US Pork Ribeye Fillet showcased premium execution. Pan-seared and glazed with a Cabernet Sauvignon reduction, the ribeye was tender, juicy, and rich in flavour, complemented by roasted vegetables.
For comfort seekers, the Cheesy Pork Lasagna was an indulgence in every forkful — layers of premium pork ragu, béchamel, and gooey cheese baked to perfection. Familiar, nostalgic, yet deeply satisfying.
We ended on a sweet crescendo with the Tiramisu. Light, airy, and infused with just a kiss of alcohol, it was the kind of dessert that lingers in memory — indulgent, grown-up, and impossible to resist.
Paired with drinks like the Orange Assam (RM12), Hot Latte (RM16), and Hot Matcha Latte (RM16), the meal was rounded out with refreshment and warmth.
The verdict? Three Plates Full is not just a restaurant, it’s a culinary experience that bridges cozy familiarity with sophisticated indulgence. From crisp prawn toast to melt-in-your-mouth Iberico ribs, it’s a destination worth revisiting — and a shining star in Subang’s dining scene.
