D’Empire Pavilion Damansara Heights: A Haven for Dry-Aged Beef Connoisseurs

November 9, 2023 by StrawberrY Gal

When it comes to indulging in the finest dry-aged beef, few establishments can match the excellence of D’Empire. This award-winning restaurant, renowned for its dedication to culinary perfection, recently opened a new branch at Pavilion Damansara Heights, inviting gastronomy enthusiasts to embark on a culinary adventure like no other.
One of the signature here is their Dried Aged Beef. And for those who are not aware, there is the Art of Dry Age Beef which is worth to know

The Art of Dried Age Beef

The art of dry-aging beef is a revered tradition that elevates a simple cut of meat into a gastronomic masterpiece. The process entails aging the beef in a meticulously controlled environment, which allows it to develop a profound concentration of flavors and an outstandingly tender texture. The outcome is a rich, roasted flavor that stands out from its non-aged counterparts, offering a dining experience that’s truly exceptional.
And for this round, we enjoyed the vast variety of their delectable dishes which indeed delicious and did not disappoint me at all.

Stuffed Escargots Bourguignon

Our dining experience began with a delectable serving of half a dozen French snails, thoughtfully prepared with garlic, unsalted butter, and English parsley. These escargots were a true delight, showcasing a tender texture and a delightful infusion of savory, garlicky flavors that harmonized flawlessly with the rich, buttery undertones.

The Smoked Salmon Salad

The salad presented a symphony of flavors, a delightful composition of garden-fresh greens, crisp apple slices, earthy beetroot, exquisite Norwegian smoked salmon, and a homemade raspberry vinaigrette.

Bruschetta Tomatoes

These tomatoes are carefully diced and then tossed with the most exquisite extra virgin olive oil, imparting a luscious silkiness to every bite. Fresh basil leaves, picked at the peak of their vibrancy, infuse the mix with their aromatic essence. When it comes together; it produce an explosion of fresh and zesty flavors, crafting a refreshing and delightful appetizer. Crafted with care, it blended the tartness of ripe raspberries with a touch of sweetness, resulting in a dressing that elevated the entire salad.

Chicken Whole Leg

Tender and succulent, the chicken brings you with the delicious tempting delights which you will definately fall in love. Accompanying the chicken leg were olives, capers, onions, a selection of fragrant herbs, and a delectable creamed pepper sauce. The combination of these ingredients, along with the aromatic herbs, enhanced the overall profile of the dish, infusing it with depth and complexity.

Seafood Saffron Risotto

Brimming with an abundance of peeled prawns, plump mussels, tender squids, and succulent stone clams, it was a seafood lover’s dream. The seafood, cooked to perfection, exuded freshness and flavor with each bite.
What truly elevated this dish was the saffron-infused rice. Saffron, the world’s most precious spice, added a touch of luxury to the risotto. Its subtle, floral notes and vibrant hue transformed the dish into a masterpiece of taste and aesthetics. The creamy consistency of the risotto enveloped the seafood, creating a luscious and indulgent texture that was nothing short of exceptional. We love the taste of it and every mouthful is divinely good and we give a double thumbs up!

Premium Black Angus Ribeye

Now, let’s delve into the star of the evening—the Premium Black Angus Ribeye, which has been meticulously dry-aged for an impressive 21 days. The remarkable buttery texture of the steak allowed our teeth to effortlessly glide through the beef, instantly immersing our palates in a rich, roasted beef flavor that was nothing short of extraordinary.

Hazelnut Truckle Cake

To wrap up our exquisite meal, we savored a delectable Hazelnut Truckle Cake paired with a generous scoop of velvety vanilla ice cream. The nutty essence of the cake harmonized perfectly with the creamy, cold indulgence of the ice cream, culminating in a sweet and satisfying conclusion to our gastronomic adventure.
D’Empire at Pavilion Damansara Heights stands as a haven for connoisseurs of dry-aged beef and all who seek a menu that caters to a wide range of tastes. Every dish presented a testament to their unwavering commitment to flavor and quality, reflecting the renowned culinary expertise of D’Empire.
