LET’S NGOPI DARLING – W KUALA LUMPUR

June 9, 2025 by StrawberrY Gal

W Kuala Lumpur is brewing up some serious buzz with its latest twist on afternoon tea: Let’s Ngopi, Darling! Say goodbye to the same old scones and Earl Grey—this is teatime, reimagined. Loud, proud, and bursting with the local soul, it’s not just about sipping anymore. It’s a vibe.

In Malaysia, ngopi isn’t just “let’s get coffee”—it’s a connection. It’s gossip with your bestie. Its laughs over life updates. It’s that sweet spot between hustle and chill. And now, W Kuala Lumpur’s Living Room is turning that everyday ritual into an epic afternoon experience.

Kick things off with the Signature Lokal Coffee (you get two cups, darling—because one is never enough). Choose from Kopi Cacao (a bold coffee-chocolate hybrid), Nyonya Brew (a rich kopi with a Gula Melaka twist), or the spicy, soothing Jungle Spice Chai. Then settle in and let the flavours do the talking.

Savoury stars lead the charge, including the decadent Pulut Kuning with Rendang Daging Wagyu—slow-cooked beef with all the richness of tradition and a luxe upgrade. The crisp and colourful Nyonya Top Hat (V) brings Peranakan flair, while the Mini Croissant Kerabu Tuna Sandwich and Mushroom Kapitan Quiche (V) add modern charm with bold, zesty profiles.

Top it off with freshly baked scones, served with luscious clotted cream and Pumpkin Kaya Jam. Whether you’re going for the Gula Melaka Scone or the Lokal Fig, each bite is comfort with a classy edge.

Weekdays keep it cool and curated with à la carte options—perfect for laidback afternoons, solo indulgences, or casual catch-ups with a W twist.

Weekends & Public Holidays take things up a notch with a full-on, flavour-packed theatre of treats. Picture roaming dessert trolleys, unlimited pass-around bites, and dim sum–style servings—from Onde Onde Layer Cake to Rose Milk Panna Cotta, Kelapa Almond Pie, and Harum Manis Mango Truffle. It’s indulgence with attitude.

Let’s Ngopi Darling!
