Bungkus Kaw Kaw @ 1 Utama

February 19, 2023 by StrawberrY Gal

We absolutely love to tapau nasi lemak for a quick and satisfying meal. Recently, we discovered that Bungkus Kaw Kaw has opened a new outlet at One Utama. Although the space is a bit small, it’s perfect for those who want a quick bite of some delicious nasi lemak.

About Bungkus Kaw Kaw

Bungkus Kaw Kaw is well-known for their strong and full-flavoured traditional foods and beverages made from secret family recipes. The name “Bungkus Kaw Kaw” is derived from the Malay word “bungkus” (take away) and the Hokkien word “kaw” (thick). By saying “bungkus kaw kaw,” you’ll get an authentic, full-bodied Malaysian drink packed in a plastic bag and secured with a red plastic cord that serves as a carrier sling. Quench your thirst with traditional drinks like Teh Tarik, Kopi, or Cham.

This time, we decided to try their nasi lemak. Bungkus Kaw Kaw offers a variety of nasi lemak choices that you can take to go or even enjoy at their store. We were blown away by how delicious their nasi lemak is. It’s beautifully wrapped with banana leaf and served with their signature sambal, which is pungent, sweet, and slightly spicy. The crispy ikan bilis and egg complement the dish perfectly.

If you’re looking for a quick and affordable meal, Bungkus Kaw Kaw is the perfect place.

Head over to their new outlet at 1 Utama Shopping Centre,

Address:

LGK105 & 108, Lower Ground Floor, 1, Lebuh Bandar Utama, Bandar Utama, 47800 Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
