 Marriott International Inc. and Iconic Group have officially signed an agreement to introduce Courtyard by Marriott to Penang Mainland with the upcoming Courtyard by Marriott Penang Icon City. This exciting venture strengthens the strategic relationship between the two companies following their successful collaboration on the Iconic Marjorie Hotel, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel.

Scheduled to debut in Dec 2026 following a phased transformation of the existing Iconic Hotel Penang, the property will offer 196 contemporary guestrooms tailored for modern travelers where business and leisure intersect.
