Flavettes Celebrates Healthcare Heritage in Merdeka 2026 Campaign

July 22, 2026 by StrawberrY Gal

Duopharma Biotech Berhad (“Duopharma Biotech” or “the Company”) officially launched the Flavettes Merdeka 2026 campaign today, themed ‘Flavettes Setia Menemani Setiap Generasi’ and featuring a multi-prong collaboration with Tourism Malaysia, Watsons Malaysia and Kapten Batik. The launch event saw the attendance of Zuraini Abdul Ghani, Director of Package Development Division, Tourism Malaysia; Wan Amir-Jeffery Wan Abdul Majid, Group Chief Executive Officer, Duopharma Biotech; Noor Aida Jaafar, Chief Commercial Officer, Duopharma Biotech; Foo Hwei Jiek, Trading Director, Watsons Malaysia; Ekram Faiz, Director and Co-Founder, Kapten Batik; and Farhan Omar, Director and Co-Founder, Kapten Batik.

Duopharma Biotech Group Chief Executive Officer Wan Amir-Jeffery Wan Abdul Majid remarked, “At Duopharma Biotech, we’re proud that Flavettes has been trusted by generations of Malaysians to support their health and wellness, captured in our Merdeka 2026 campaign theme ‘Flavettes Setia Menemani Setiap Generasi’. Today, after more than 30 years in the market, Flavettes offers more than just immunity support. In line with Duopharma Biotech’s aim of Providing Smarter Solutions for a Healthier Life, the brand has grown to include a wider Halal-certified portfolio of health, wellness, beauty, and skincare solutions, in various formats such as effervescent, chewable and powder in sachets, to suit the different lifestyles and preferences of modern consumers looking for a more holistic approach to well-being.”

“This Merdeka, Duopharma Biotech is pleased to collaborate with Tourism Malaysia, Watsons Malaysia and Kapten Batik to jointly celebrate healthy lifestyles, our Malaysian heritage and culture, as well as Flavettes’ enduring bond with Malaysians. In this, we want to capture the spirit of what makes us uniquely Malaysian and the connections that bring generations together. Just like how traditions are passed down, we believe that healthy habits should also be nurtured and shared across generations. Being the first health supplement brand and only local brand to bring together both immunity and beauty solutions under the trusted Flavettes name, it heartens us to see Malaysian parents who grew up taking Flavettes Vitamin C daily introducing the brand to their own children – proving the timeless relevance of innovative health products,” explained Wan Amir-Jeffery.

‘Flavettes Setia Menemani Setiap Generasi’ campaign reaches out to Malaysians at Watsons stores nationwide

The Flavettes Merdeka 2026 campaign highlights the full Flavettes range, with Flavettes Flazz Guard Effervescent Vitamin C 1000mg, Flavettes Glow and Flavettes MsKristal products featured prominently.

To celebrate Malaysian heritage, a customised floral and fruit-inspired batik pattern exclusively designed by Kapten Batik for Flavettes, is printed on a vibrant turquoise limited-edition Mini Canvas Tote Bag to reflect Flavettes’ partnership with Watsons and its iconic signature colour. The limited-edition bag is available as a gift for customers spending RM58 and above on any Flavettes products, exclusively at more than 865 Watsons stores nationwide, while stocks last. In addition, Flavettes Effervescent Vitamin C Glow 45s packs featuring the campaign sticker will include an exclusive RM15 Kapten Batik voucher inside the pack, valid for use at Kapten Batik stores with a minimum spend of RM100.

Flavettes sampling booth activations will also be held at eight Watsons locations nationwide, namely Sunway Pyramid, Berjaya Times Square, Elmina Lakeside Mall, Gurney Plaza, Paradigm Mall Johor Bahru, Kuantan Parade, Limbongan Melaka and Suria Sabah, where consumers can exchange any empty Vitamin C bottle for a free Flavettes Flazz Guard Passion Fruit 15s at the booth, while stocks last.

Malaysia’s heritage and culture is further recognised in the campaign’s promotional artwork featuring Malaysian landmarks, including KLCC, A Famosa, Sultan Abdul Samad Building, KL Tower, and the LRT, as well as the bunga raya and Tourism Malaysia’s Sun Bear mascots sitting in a beca.

In addition to Flavettes displays at Watsons stores, the artwork can be seen on promotional buntings displayed at selected Tourism Malaysia offices to create further awareness on the Flavettes Merdeka 2026 campaign among local and international travellers, including at KLIA 1, KLIA 2, KL Sentral, MaTiC KL and Bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad.
