Wan Chun Ting @ Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara

November 15, 2021 by StrawberrY Gal

We are back again to Sofitel Wan Chun Ting! Wan Chun Ting is one of our favourite restaurants and they serve delicious meal that you will definitely fall in love and tempted to want more of it.

For those who are not aware, Wan Chun Ting has four private dining rooms and an extensive menu that offers Cantonese and Imperial cuisine. In a circular room with elegant round tables and a whimsical chandelier, savor the signature Peking duck for dinner. Enjoy delicious Dim Sum for lunch, or try one of the chef’s recommendations.

This time, we are back to Wan Chun Ting to enjoy some of their specialty that not to be missed. One of the signature in Wan Chun Ting is their Peking Duck which is a must to go for.

The Peking Duck is beautifully roasted in their specialty wood oven and they are roasted with the lychee wood. It makes the roasted Peking Duck so deliciously good. The Peking Duck comes is prepared in 3 types of serving where the first one is roast duck  skin wrapped with pancake, duck meat wrapped with lettuce and finally wok fried wanton noodles with slices

Next; we had they have the roast duck skin wrapped with the pancake. They are beautifully prepared with the thin skin which is aromatic and crispy. We love the aroma of the skin which is beautifully infused with the char and fragrant wood flavors in it.

The second serving is the duck meat wrapped with lettuce. The meat comes with amazingly good where they are so tender and juicy. It is so nice and good which makes it to our favorites.

As for the meat, they had made them to wok fried wanton noodles with sliced duck meat. The dish is scrumptiously good and delicious and we love the slurpi-licious noodles. They are perfectly done and I am in love with the flavorful blend of noodles.

Deep Fried Prawns and Scallops with Butter Milk

The fresh prawns is deshelled and coated then deep fried till golden brown with butter milk. The scallops are perfectly fried as well. The dish is just perfect at anytime and love the flavorful taste of it with the touch of light spiciness in it.

Deep Fried Chicken Chop with Mango Sauce

The chicken is beautifully deep fried till perfection and they are then topped with the sweet and sourish mango paste. The meat is tender and juicy. I love the way they make it and it is so appetizing.

Stir fried Lily Buds, Lotus Roots & Sweet Beans with Macadamia Nuts

Simple and yet delicious delights. They are so good and the dish is light and love the crunchy bites of the lotus roots.

Matcha Pudding

The Matcha Pudding is perfectly good and delicious. The texture is as perfect as it is bringing you a melt in the mouth sensation

The overall experience was a great one and their food are indeed impressive. Love every mouthful of the food.
