AN OX-PICIOUS GOLDEN YEAR AT SHANGRI-LA HOTEL, KUALA LUMPUR

January 14, 2021 by StrawberrY Gal

The Imperial Garden was constructed during the Ming dynasty back in 1417, designed to be a private retreat for the imperial family to relax, gather and enjoy beautiful scenery. At each of the four corners there is a pavilion symbolizing the four seasons – Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur have recreated the scenery of the Imperial Garden through the window of the Pavilion of Myriad Springs as showcased through our products.

Looking through, an evergreen landscape with abundant trees and flowers with an ox gazing towards the sun represents hope for positivity in the new year and a hummingbird visiting the flowers for nectar signifies the start of Spring and life.
