Intercontinental Kuala Lumpur Welcomes Chinese New Year with Festive Experiences for All

January 14, 2020 by StrawberrY Gal

Chinese New Year is the most anticipated festival of the Chinese calendar, it is a time for reconnecting with friends and family and sharing precious time together. InterContinental Kuala Lumpur is the perfect place for families to create memorable Spring Festival moments and celebrate new beginnings.

Soft Shell Crab Yee Sang, Hakka Lei Cha Sauce

One can start off with their signature and yet delicious yee sang. The soft shell crab yee sang comes addictively good with the crispy soft shell topped with the uniquely prepared Yee Sang with the Hakka Lei Cha Sauce. Even though I am not a fans of lei cha, I find the taste comes simply delicious with great blend of the lei cha sauce. Yummz!

Double-boiled Chicken Soup, Fish Maw, Baby Abalone

Next, we have the wholesome soup which is packed with the gracious ingridients that one will definitely love. The soup is simply amazing where they are packed with the sweetness in it. I am loving the wholesome soup that is completed with the fish maw, chicken soup and baby abalone in it.

Tao’s Roasted Duck, Hong Kong Style

Asides from that, one can enjoy the famous Tao’s Roasted Duck where the duck is perfectly roasted and love the crispy skin. Perfectly done with the tender meat and every mouthful is such a divine!

Steamed White Sultan Fish, Superior Soy Sauce

I am loving how this premium sultan is is being steamed. The fish remains at its best texture where one can grab the smooth fish textured fish where the meat is perfectly smooth and flaky. Nice and perfect indulgence.

Tok Alang Style Wok-fried Tiger Prawn

Never say no to the chef’s special creation which is the Tok Alang Style Wok Fried Tiger Prawn. One can enjoy the pulpy tiger prawns with the aromatic sauce. Perfect!

Braised Sea Cucumber, Mushroom, Crab Roe Paste, Vegetable

The beautifully presented dish Braised Sea Cucumber, Mushroom, Crab Roe Paste, Vegetable is a must when it comes to vegetables.  One can enjoy the delectable meal where the sea cucumber is beautifully braised till perfection and leaving you with chewy bites. Served together with the pulpy juicy mushroom with the crab roe and broccoli.

Steamed Rice in Mini Lotus Leaf

We ends with the mini lotus leaf steamed rice which is well steamed and every mouthful have the light hint of the lotus leaf in it.

Double-boiled Snow Bird’s Nest, Glutinous Dumpling, Lemongrass Brown Sugar Syrup

We ended with the two chef’s signature items which is the Double Boiled Snow Bird’s Nest Glutinous Dumpling, Lemongrass Brown Sugar Syrup and the Pan-fried Ninko, Sesame Seeds, Salted Bean Paste Dumpling. These are perfectly good and I am perfectly loving every mouthful of it.
